Aly & AJ just haven't received the recognition they've deserved since their massive return to the land of pop. They've put out some amazing music. Music that had it been by Taylor Swift for instance, probably would have been received as two of the best albums of this decade.

Looking back, I really enjoy this now, although not so much at the time. This charted for one week when I first brought back my chart.

'Lover' :wub: one of the best of the album. That Kygo and Tina thing is a complete waste. Like what did he do with it exactly? Except chop the vocals up :') I miss the old Kygo that did 'Firestone'!

Were songs #85-89 too awful to even appear here then? :P

 

I didn't mind What's Love Got To Do With It but it wasn't as good as Higher Love for me, or most of the stuff from his last album.

Oh yeah, Lover was definitely one of the best. I feel like Liver might be Carly's second best ever album for me tbh.

Hey Pete! :hi: When I did my graphics, I factored in Songs that I was gonna add for my last chart towards my EOY, but I MOVED my Christmas song entries forward a week instead, so they'd chart at the beginning of December and I don't include those oops.

I like Kygo more than most here but that Tina Turner collab only managed one week in my chart at around 84, wasn't keen, he can do much better.

 

It wasn't awful so much as it was just far too similar to the original. Maybe sped up a bit? IDK :lol:
