The track is great and the video is amazing so will people just enjoy it for what it is rather than saying she is going away from the disco vibe of the album

I get strong Lana Del Rey vibes from this. It’s like a Doin’ Time/Sad Girl/High By the Beach hybrid to me in melodic and instrumentation content.

As for the video... it was a out of the box to say the least; I actually kinda love it lol

I don't think that is comparable at all.

And just so you know the US music market is a beast in itself. Especially for female singers. Kylie never had the access to the US success platform (her US hits did grow organically) that Dua has it now (Spotify, payola etc etc). Things have changed a lot in 20 years and Dua label are showcasing that she's versatile and has a lot to offer to the US market!!!

Dua released three consecutive disco sounding singles in US and if they went for a 4th same sounding single, I truly believe people here would have called for her to change it up a bit.

Agree with this! I think they've done the right thing switching it up. They say hindsight is a very powerful thing, but this is a massive grower and quite interesting to say the least!

Apart from the saying "we're good" being Americanised, the song has broad appeal. Fans may be on the fence (RIP If It Ain't Me ), but as others have said, the GP and radio programmers will definitely love it right off the bat! (See exhibit A - the iTunes thread )

Love this. It's such a big grower! It reminds me a bit of Katy Perry's "Harleys In Hawaii" in the verses.

We're Good did almost 3 million WW on Spotify :cheeseblock:

I am not sure yet what position will be but honestly that is a great debut :cheer:

Little underwhelmed UK numbers as I was expecting 200k at least but finger crossed it will start growing!!!

The UK numbers would be better if it weren't so low on Hot Hits! Still her 5th biggest debut on Spotify WW at least!

Stream We're Good :cheer:

Hasn't Levitating had terrible callout scores the entire time in the US? Obviously it's a big success but I can understand what they're doing — even if I find it underwhelming.
Levitating's callout scores weren't great but radio still continued to support it, not to the same extent of Don't Start Now and Break My Heart though!

I really can't get into this at all :( most of the new tracks are rejects for a reason imo.

Saying that, If It Ain't Me is flawless and should have replaced Good In Bed on the original tracklisting

2nd day streams: 2,216,060!

#20 on the Sunday first look chart and down to #39 on UK Spotify! A decent start all things considered. I hope it remains stable and can get a decent peak in coming weeks :cheer:

#23 on Spotify US!
