Seems like Dingeling is not a Spice Girls song, but a recording using a Spice Girls song as part of a TV sketch by some Danish comedians

This was found out by the fans on Spice Circle, putting an end to the speculation on that track.

I have deleted it from the list as it makes no sense.

It seems we have less and less info on Spiceworld demos/unreleased songs ☹️

Also another song by Gerita has come to light:

it's called f*** Me 😅 and it was used in an old Instagram post by her lol the fans on Spice Circle are talking about it here

• Mel C just said in one of her signings that Can't Stay Tonight was recorded while Mel B was pregnant and that the full finished song might turn up at some point. We always thought it was from 1997 but I guess it is a 1998 recording, damn! Maybe from the post Spiceworld tour sessions in Oct-November 1998 since Mel and Emma recorded with Biff and Matt during that time?...🤔

• I have added the upcoming Mel C with Roger Sanchez to the list

Hmm well the CD-R of that song says “Matt & Biff Monitor Mix - 30.08.97” and “Copied from DAT 01.09.97” so either they got the year wrong when printing it, or Melanie’s recollection is different. 🤔

More than likely it is from the Spiceworld sessions. I trust the date on the CD more than Melanie’s memory. They probably never 100% finished the song since they already had Too Much and Viva Forever. They wouldn’t need 3 ballads on the album.

The AI version with the other group’s vocals definitely elevate the song.

A theory could be that they did the original demo with Melanie C in 1997 and then further developed it into a full song in 1998 when Mel B was pregnant for what was to be the next album, and maybe this is what she remembers?...

This is a good possibility. Maybe they worked on it again in 1998 in Nashville when they wrote and recorded Goodbye.

Melanie honestly has a terrible memory sometimes and seems to remember things however she wants

She literally talked recently about Madonna inviting her to dinner while the girls were touring the US in 1998, and said she thought the phone call was a prank from Geri.

Girl… how could it have been Geri if she had already left the group in May and the tour was during the summer? Impossible.

So honestly, just like that memory was clearly mixed up, she could easily be confusing when “Can’t Stay Tonight” was actually written or recorded.
