Oh no! People don't like 25 year old demo recordings!

So anyway...

Ok, I’m a bit of an insomniac, so I went down the rabbit hole. These are the only discrepancies that I noticed. I hope this helps some. I’ll try to find the appropriate links from Spice News or other

  • Been away for a while as dealing with a very personal situation but the recent days in Spiceworld and all the leaks have got my attention and have been following all the leaks, which have been incredi

I never found credits for All We Need, so that is definitely interesting to see. It’s been a good 15 years since I searched publishing for the Touch era writers. I kinda lost interest and was more int

Arent those just fans creations from the vocal and music stems that leaked a few weeks back?

Yes. This isn't a new leak. It's fan-made.

Adding here a song called Walk The Same Line as it was rumoured to be recorded in 1997 as stated in this website: http://spicechronology.atspace.com/spice.html

On the same website, there are mentions of two other songs: Exposé and Inside Out from the Spice era. Has anyone heard of these before?

Also adding a rumoured Janet Jackson feature to If Ya Do, and we now have some info on how this song might have been part of the first Jimmy Jam + Terry Lewis sessions in Autum 1998 as well following comments by the producers.

That same website has also the following as Touch/early Spice tracks, which I never heard of:

-All We Need Is A Miracle

-Hard To Kill

-In Your Face also rumored to be unreleased 'Spice' track

Does anyone know where the rumour comes from or has any other info on either of these?

Teddy Riley produced Girlfriend/Boyfriend not Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.

wow I like the drums so it's a full song and not just parts or what

It is a fan made edit from the stems that leaked.

Is that rrally how Go Go! (... Go?) Would have sounded?? :/ Too Hot is a Mel B album track, at best.

Found this demo compilation! You can see how they lost their way when Ego Spice left, and were floundering, with how many differrnt sounds they eere trying, with thr album pushed back and back.

They shoulda gonr pop rock dance. Sisters has a grrat rocky vibe, which woulda led into Pain Proof, or vice versa, and then a rocky Merry Christmas, Everyone! Three big hits right there. Start with Right Bacj At Ya, pop as it does sound v spicy into Woman, into the rocky skngs. Next album, start with IFYWTHSF(SOMM)(AYHF?)(AYHF?) (HF!), Tell Me Why dance version, with new pop vocals, not those plodding rnb ones, Hollier, LLLTW, Walk of Life x4, then finish off with Celebration/ We Are Famiky double a side. Done.

Also, the studio rnb version of Woman:

So a fan just shared this sale on Ebay which apparently is a demo from an Emma Bunton song from the year 2000 titled Better Off Alone, but the seller refuses to give any clips to prove it is real.

Personally I never heard of an Emma Bunton song or demo with this title.

What do we think girls?

They shared a clip here!

It is a Girl Like Me outtake, and it definitely sounds like the cheesy pop music she was making at the time.

ANYWAY the Ebay sale has been cancelled and the seller account deactivated as well. Seems like Emma's team (or record company) quickly moved to stop the sale, unfortunately. HOWEVER, there's a campaign that Seth Allen is starting on Spice Circle to purchase it directly from the seller so feel free to reach how to Seth there to see if we can get it!

(dont ask me how I know but...)

Two unreleased - and previously unkown - songs from A Girl Like Me era are apparently making the rounds and could probably leak one day

No Love

Better Off Alone (granted this one is known by now as a clip has been shared on Spice Circle but alas lets pray it leakes soon)

I heard a snippet of No love it is absolutely awful. I wouldn't call many Emma songs unlistenable but that was. Completely tuneless.
