Surely 1st December was going to be Mariah's biggest boost until way closer to Christmas now? The Apple event seems to be more of a push towards the 'Oh Santa!' remix, I honestly see Ariana staying at #1 for 8 weeks as per my initial prediction, it hasn't dipped below 300k streams on Spotify during its entire run

 

Yeh exactly this, the first week of December was the week she might have done it imo and yes the weekend will have big streams for the Xmas songs but outside of that it’ll drop back and the acr will mean Ariana will be number one until Xmas week (if streams sit at the 300k plus daily)! Christmas chart week will likely see a bit of a daily increase but Ladbaby of some other Xmas number one race song may well be released by then.

I hope Steps can hold that number 2, Gary Barlow looks to be on track for a safe 40k, was half hoping mariah would be number 1 today in the singles.

I'm pleased Liam Gallagher's All You're Dreaming looks safe for a top 40 debut this Friday. It's a beautiful song imo. :P

Is it certain to be there? Has held up well on iTunes (well when I check kworb) but down to 27 today with 2 days streams to come and push it down 😐

Not sure how much of an effect Mariahs Xmas special will have? I think it’s in apples streaming service? It’s out on Friday.

Mariah's accelerations slowed last December but she didn't "drop back" in any week. She still has a chance with Ariana declining (and she is declining week on week).

Considering the fact that this update does include the 1st of December Christmas boost from Apple and Amazon I'm inclined to believe that Xmas songs in the top ten will likely drop some spots so it's entirely possible for a 34+35 re-entry in that zone.

So the #1 song just now isn’t the most streamed, or the most downloaded.

 

That’s why I hate the ACR rule.

 

But it is what it is.

Not Steps releasing this week and looking like #3 when they are clearly going to surpass the first week sales of the album that is due to push them down into 3rd position! :cry: :rolleyes: :o
