With Christmas Eve being on a Thursday this year, are they just going to average Thursdays streams for the chart on Friday? I imagine streaming Christmas songs on Thursday will be massive.

Will Amazon and (maybe) Apple Music Thursday Xmas Eve streams be added as they should be as they don't normally have missing data?

Probably, it depends on who reports in time! Otherwise it's estimations using the OCC's algorithm.

Poor One More Sleep is going to get shafted
There foo fighters amazon Exclusive keep eye that one

Is that just released?

Eminem seems to be off to a pretty slow start on Apple Music, only 4 songs top 100 and none in top 70

Doesn’t surprise me tbh. Not really a proper album and it’s Christmas week

Amazon #182 is translated into a runaway #1 on official charts, is that correct? asking for a friend

I think LadBaby may already be higher than he ever got on Apple last year, fair play ~ (edit: oops I read Amazon as Apple - though he is #246 on Apple which I think is still higher than he got last year).

Eminem's release definitely reads as 'these are just a bunch of throwaways' so I'm not surprised that it hasn't made much impact so far. I suspect if he waited until January to release it and gave it a different title (and its own release rather than just being tagged onto his previous album) that alone would have made it do a lot better. He's now up to 7 songs in the top 100 on Apple though the highest is still only #56.

It wouldn’t make sense as it’s a continuation of the ‘Music To and Murdered By’ era so the songs fit into that!

In the equivalent tracking period last year (except without Xmas Day in the mix), River more than doubled its sales to snatch the post Xmas No.1. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see This Christmas jump to 55-65k this week. I do wonder if it might be the one to watch if LadBaby’s sales were to drop off suddenly - not that I expect that to happen but I’ll be keeping an eye on his progress through the week, Jess is somehow out at 25/1 with the bookies. Plus she has a CD single which iirc Ellie didn’t?

difference is Ellie was #1 on Amazon's chart, Jess is just #7

omn today's update Mariah up to 757K, Wham 744K

doesn't look like LadBaby made the top 200 on Spotify

Emienm low impacting on Spotify with the highest song at #55, the one with Skylar, followed by Gnat at #59

At least that’s promising! I am holding onto the slim hope that streams will be its downfall

here are so many Xmas songs in the top 200

even a Camilla & Shawn Mendes Xmas song aka last thing I ever wanna listen to :D

clearly Spotify users don't care about LadBaby, pretty unusual for the #1 song on NMF to miss the top 200

positions is the highest non-Christmas song at #23 with 269,328 streams. There is a very good chance that positions could be the first #1 single of 2021.
