Good to see Snowman gaining traction this year for Sia, Snowman and Candy Cane Lane always felt like the obvious hits on the album.

‘Snowman’ could be in with a top 40 shout. Did ‘Candy Cane Lane’ chart?

'Snowman' presumably would have already been put on SCR if it was going to be reset. Could maybe crack the top 100 but it won't be near the top 40 I would think.

 

I do wish that had been her Christmas hit over 'Santa's Coming For Us' as it is a lot better.

Agreed, great song but just not well-known enough.

It's well known enough that it has already been back in the top 100 for the past couple of weeks!

Ironically it was a huge 4 week number one at the time, they are probably more well known for ‘Tiger Feet’ though.

 

Plus one of the band helped write ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ for Kylie!

I'm pretty sure 'Lonely This Christmas' is the only song I know from them ~

 

This was their other number one ‘Tiger Feet’, you may have danced to it at your uncles wedding one time

Mariah 756K today, Wham 749K

good figure but not extraordinary considering it's the w/end before Xmas

Mariah’s actually down on yesterday which is quite surprising

The Saturday before Xmas last year was 22/12/19 and she did 576k so she is up a lot on that although it was closer to Xmas at that time!

That was the Sunday figure, she did 623k on the Sat. Still a lot lower than yesterday of course.

With lockdown back in England the streams could be huge this coming week even more so!

I think Mariwham might even be able to pass a million before Christmas Day especially with these new Tier 4 restrictions in London/South East!
