I do like magic but its probably too high but thats due to its newness. Most of the top 10 songs are brilliant.

‘Magic’ is a bop - it probably should have been the first single from the album tbh, the GP seem to have really taken to it.

I hope The One wins it :cheer:

Overall I'd say the Top 20 is mostly in line with her widely-acknowledged classics. The surprises for me are RBW, Magic, and the absence of any singles from her first 2 albums :o

^^ I still love her early music but I guess a lot of it is due to nostalgia I can understand why fans that didn’t come on board until later are not particularly taken by it, it was the kind of era that you had to be there to experience it to enjoy it now I guess?
As a grew up with her older material i know no different, i think i slightly enjoy some of her older material more even though i love some of the stuff after pwl aswell, a good few songs from her first 3 albums i still really really love and have such great memories of the songs and also what it was like to be a Kylie fan back then.

A little reminder of what eras are left in the running =

Kylie - 0/6
Enjoy Yourself - 0/4
Rhythm of Love - 1/4
Let's Get To It - 0/4
KM'94 - 1/3
Impossible Princess - 0/4
Light Years - 1/5
Fever - 3/4
Body Language - 1/3
X - 2/5
Aphrodite - 1/4
Kiss Me Once - 0/2
Kylie Christmas - 0/5
Golden - 0/6
Disco - 0/3

Greatest Hits Collections - 0/5

Interesting to note that there's only PWL single in the top 10 & looks like the 'Fever' era's dominating this top 10 with 3 entries, & 'X' not far behind with 2 (but for how long

I would have liked more pwl representation.

Me too, I would have had 'I Should Be So Lucky' in the top 20 instead of 'Red Blooded Woman' & 'Never Too Late' or 'Hand On Your Heart' in there instead of one of the 'Disco' singles.

Never too late I would agree with

Never too late should be easy top 20 and while most others would diagree i would have the loco motion in there aswell.

How do you describe a feeling?

10. In My Arms | 8.68 Highest Scores: 11: (Tawdry Hepburn), 10: (Nina West, 365, ___∆__, Nick F1, Spiceboy, Liam.k, Dannyboy), Lowest Scores: 6: (Slowdown73, dabbile, vibe)

Kicking off the almighty top 10 is In My Arms, taken from her 10th studio album X & released in February 2008 as the 2nd worldwide single, while it served as the third single in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand as the 3rd single. The track was written by Minogue, Paul Harris, Julian Peake and its producers Calvin Harris and Richard "Biff" Stannard. As well as being introduced by Calvin Harris while she was recording in a studio in Brighton. Upon release the song gained favourable reviews & became a commercial success by hitting top 5 peaks in Czech Republic & Turkey & top 10 peaks in Germany, Greece, Russia, Belgium, France, Switzerland & UK, as well as top 20 peaks in Ireland, Sweden, Austria & Netherlands. However in her homeland Australia it was less successful where it peaked at #35, becoming her lowest charting hit in 10 years. Of note in some countries the song featured foreign artists such as Taiwanese artist Jolin Tsai & Mexican singer songwriter Aleks Synteks who recorded vocals in Spanish.

Although Kylie's 'X' album was a bit of a mixed bag, however there’s a rejuvenation throughout, particularly in this track. Full of electric energy, blazing synths & an abundance of sounds that's coated in pop perfection & of course there's Kylie's commanding vocals & Calvin Harris’s effortlessly cool production that really delivers an almighty bop. A firm instant standout upon the album's release & definitely one of the strongest moments with such a killer earworm chorus that she does with such ease. Pure pop heaven that really deserves more attention.

Such an iconic song, literally in my Top 5 along with ‘The One’
