Other than Slow and Loving Days, the whole album was a disappointment for me

Loving days, slow and chocolate were the only good points, overall a huge disappointment after Fever.

Love's always inside my head, never inside my bed

18. What Do I Have To Do | 8.32 Highest Scores: 11: (Pippa, Feel The Fever), 10: (Nina West, Red Blooded Man, Slowdown73, Stuart25, Dannyboy), Lowest Scores: 5: (365, Nick F1)

At #18 is the brilliant What Do I Have To Do, released in January 1991 as the 3rd single from her 3rd studio album Rhythm of Love. Originally slated to be the album's 2nd single, but was held back in favour of 'SBIT', and the track was specially remixed for single release. The 1999 biographical book 'Girl Next Door' identified this track as Kylie's favourite to perform live. Upon release the song received very positive reviews & became a success by reaching top 10 peaks in Iceland, Ireland, UK & Finland & top 20 peaks in Australia & Belgium, as well as minor peaks in Germany, France & Netherlands. Yet another Kylie classic from her early PWL days with this euphoric dance anthem that features sultry vocals in each verse before dominating that exploding chorus. The club-ready anthem was Kylie’s most dance-focused work at the time, something she has kept going even to this day. There's a refined quality to this song that didn't bare much resemblance to her hits from 2 years prior even despite having the same team behind it & just goes to show that Kylie was taking firm control & would only progress further with each album going forward.

Oh how I love the see the tides turn for Body Language and Red Blooded Woman :D . I see all those 10s! Thanks to everyone who voted highly for them  A Top 5 Kylie album for me, and consistently one of my most played.

Absolute classic in every way, love the song, love the video.

What Do I Have to Do is Kylie at her best and a standout from her early work.

The track still sounds amazing.

17. I Believe In You | 8.42 11: (Dandy), 10: (Nina West, ___∆__, Pippa, dabblie, Simon, Jade, blacksquare, Lukuzz), Lowest Scores -1: (Nick F1)

At #17 we lose the magnificent I Believe In You, released in December 2004 as the lead single from her greatest hits compilation Ultimate Kylie. It was written by Kylie herself alongside its producers Jake Shears and Babydaddy. In August of that year it was announced that Kylie would be recording new tracks, rumoured to be some kind of Christmas album, but a month later it was announced that she'd be releasing a greatest hits album with 2 new tracks. Upon release the song gained a positive reception & became a commercial smash hit by peaking at #2 on the UK charts, as well as topping the charts in Romania & Portugal, along with further top 5 peaks in Denmark, Poland, Austria, Hungary & Spain, as well as top 10 peaks in Australia, Greece, Switzerland, Ireland & Netherlands. Despite not charting in the USA it became a club hit by peaking at #3 on the Dance charts as well as earning a Grammy nomination for 'Best Dance Recording'.

If it wasn't for the -1 score then this would have ranked higher. However as it stands this song is simply a masterpiece & sticks to what Kylie does best: dance beats and earworm hooks. An instant Kylie classic upon its debut & seen by many as a return to form after the less than stellar reception to 'Body Language', this was a more than welcomed addition to her discography, thanks to its stylish production & fabulous synths, pulsating bassline's & sharp lyrics simply gives this Euro-Disco track a timeless quality & in my opinion this has held up rather well considering its 16 years old.

I’ve always found this to be quite overrated if I’m honest. I don’t dislike it, just hold it to as high regard as most do.

I think 'I Believe In You' still sounds fresh
I believe in you is great although i dont love it as much as i used to, what do i have to do i have always loved loved loved, i have never tired of the song in the 30 odd years since its release and i dont think i ever will.
IBIY - forever a fave  A Top 3 Kylie song for me, I still love it now as much as I did when it was released.
Its a song i do like alot, really love the artwork for the single aswell, shame it was released against band aid as it could have been a number 1.
^^ I always remember it getting the (then) accolade of one of the lowest selling Top 3 singles in January when it climbed from #4 to #3, I’m sure it sold something like 7k that week.
IBIY is totally overrated , i find it so jarring

16. Spinning Around | 8.48 Highest Scores: 11: (ready for it), 10: (Nina West, dabblie, Spiceboy, Liam.k, elf), Lowest Scores: 6.5: (Feel The Fever)

At the #16 spot is perhaps one of the greatest musical comebacks in history with Spinning Around, released in June 2000 as the lead single from her 7th studio album Light Years. The song initially meant to be recorded by Paula Abdul for her own album, but was given to Kylie after the plan never came to fruition. This marked a major comeback for Kylie who hadn't released anything in 2 years & her last album 'IP' suffered from poor reviews & less than stellar sales which resulted in her getting dropped by Deconstruction Records. Now back with a new record deal & a return to her pop roots & of course that music video which became popular for the gold hot-pants, causing a media sensation. Upon release the song became an insant iconic hit by topping the charts in both the UK & Australia, (her first in 10 years in the former), as well as topping the charts in Hungary & top 10 peaks in New Zealand, Ireland & Iceland, as well as top 40 peaks in Denmark, France, Netherlands, Switzerland & Belgium. This would of course kick-start a long string of top 10 hits that would continue throughout the decade & therefore cement her legacy.

This was what fans had been clamouring for the last several years, for Kylie to return to pop but with an updated sound & generally speaking not many artists get opportunities for a big comeback like Kylie got with this resounding success with the track's infectious disco production and delirious catchiness that still has that air of elegance & sensuality that only Kylie could bring. Glitzy & glamourous, a song so full or euphoric joy & was a perfect way to relaunch herself. To call this an iconic classic is an understatement.

Spinning Around, a very pivotal Kylie single but she has served much stronger too.

'What Do I Have to Do?' is SUCH a classic. "Love's always inside my head, but never inside my bed" is definitely one of my favourite all-time lyrics!

I like 'I Believe In You', but it's not a favourite. She does that high-pitched waily thing with her voice on it which usually ruins a song for me.

'Spinning Around' definitely has its place and I have some affection for it, but again nowhere near a fave. I was digging it around the 20th anniversary though!
