Congratulations to Lindsey for winning, that was a good song (as expected of PVRIS), and v. well done to awardinary on a passionately hosted contest.

 

Sending a former Nightwish vocalist and The Rasmus on a collabing ballad made me I felt pretty obvious, but it's a really nice one that I've loved for a while, so thank you to everyone who pointed it, especially Rollo for the 18.

Oh my god! So sorry to miss this but I'm totally not expecting a 4 18 pointers, top 10 finish and my 18 pointer winning the entire contest!! Thanks to awardinary for hosting the amazing contest! Completely not expecting a good result given my track record on BJSC so I'm very satisfied!

I find it crazy that 70% of my total votes came from the last 10 voters :lol:

So yeah idk what y'all were on ranking my song below so many identikit midtempo slogs (mine may have also been a midtempo slog but at least it was in a different language to stand out a bit!!! :kink:) but nevermind, at least I can now lay claim to a difficult to beat record for lowest position ever in PFSC, plus finishing at the position that is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything *.* Thanks Jafet for the Icelandic solidarity points and vibe for the bottom 2 solidarity points (those 2 alone accounting for 66% of my points :lol:) + Jade, Jupiter, isanka and ...ready for it for also not paying me complete dust x It took me ages to find a song I was happy to send but based on this I probably should have saved myself the effort and just sent the first idea I came up with, it can't have done worse :basil:

 

That particular failure of taste aside the results turned out pretty good here as I did vote for the entire top 5 (which included both of my top 2) plus 3 more of the top 10! Would have loved to see 'Make U Stay' taking the win here but obviously it wasn't even close in the end, Låpsley just having to settle for another 2nd place finish in a song contest x

I forgot to follow the results yesterday, but you did a great job presenting it! I was hoping to continue my streak of finishing in the 20s, only to end up 30th and only one point away :'( But I was glad to have the opportunity to send 'This Is Us' since PFSC was the right fit for it. Great to see some support for the country entries, and thanks for the points!

 

A PVRIS and RAYE collab is something I never could've imagined being a thing, but it works! Not at all surprised that it won, congrats Lindsey. Big thumbs up to The Midnight and Gryffin making the top 10, and Lizzo just a few points away. Justice for Mary J Blige and K-Ci though :snif:
