October 12, 20213 yr England were pretty dreadful. Thought loads of players had shocking games, loads of misjudged passes, players not on each others' wavelenghts.. I totally get the clamour to have all the attacking players on the pitch but a better team than Hungary tears us to pieces. The singular pivot midfielder is probably the hardest position to play. I have a lot of time for Rice, but he isn't good enough for that role.

October 13, 20213 yr Hungary are a decent team don't forget, drew with France & Germany at the Euros. 2 teams I'd assume you'd be referring to that they'd tear us to pieces. Don't blame the players for half-arsing it when we've got San Marino still to play. Although they'd better avoid being bottled in the Albania match!

They are half decent, but England are still better player for player. We also had the luxury of playing pretty much a new team. A 1-1 draw is fine, but we looked garbage that is more my concern. The attacking experiment just had players performing the same roles, but we didn't look anywhere near as solid without 2 holding players.
