Yeah although I would be a Labour supporter I am not a massive fan of the Kunts song itself lyrically but I like how it uses quite a few key changes throughout the song.

I didn't even know it was a song, I rather call it a snippet of a song when its less than a minute

Would you guys say that Boris Johnson is the worst Prime Minister we have ever had?

Also, i Love Sausage Rolls has fallen to #37, and We Built This City has fallen out of the top 40 to #41.

Thatcher was horrific, but given the historic Brexit and Covid disasters I’d give that a ‘yes’!

Obv the Kunts song may now be getting support from Left, Right and Nowhere in particular.

Which might be why it has no political lyric, no one is excluded. More £££

Is there any charity link to the song btw??

No.

The money goes to the people who think songs about Jimmy Savile and what he got up to are funny.

In a parallel universe, 1990’s hot summer was defined by the massive #1 “Margaret Thatcher is a ******* ***** *****” by Adamski feat. Guru Josh, The KLF and Cliff Richard.

Or maybe the 2003 banger “Tony Blair is a ******* Liar” by Busted feat. Sean Paul, Delta Goodrem and the Fast Food Rockers?

^ I like the implication there that all the artists you mentioned have the same level of relevance as The Kunts.

The Kunts' frontman Kunt is of course a seasoned chart veteran though, having had 2 songs reaching the dizzying heights of the 60s under the name Kunt And The Gang in 2010 & 2011.

Wasn't there a song that went top 5 officially a few years ago that was entirely about deriding Theresa May, or am I imagining that?

'Liar Liar' by Captain Ska :magic:

Speaking of songs related to politics, remember when Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead went to #2 on the official singles chart after Thatcher died?

What beat it to #1 and was it played on Radio 1?

They did a newsbeat segment about why it was in the chart in place of actually playing it, Duke Dumont beat it with Need U (100%)

Duke Dumont - Need U (100%)

They didn't play it, but gave a very brief and diplomatic explanation for why it was there.
