December 18, 20204 yr Christmas number one albums. 1963: The Beatles - With The Beatles 1964: The Beatles - Beatles For Sale 1965: The Beatles - Rubber Soul 1967: The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band 1968: The Beatles - The Beatles 1969: The Beatles - Abbey Road 2000: The Beatles - 1 Pretty amazing! (It should have been Revolver in 1966 instead of SOM). These are ALL my favourites!
December 18, 20204 yr The Immaculate Collection is easily the best, followed by Dido and Shania Twain, the rest not so much... think Ball/Boe will do it again this year :/
December 18, 20204 yr 1994: Beautiful South - Carry On up The Charts This still stands out as being the most unlikely christmas #1. I bet they couldn't believe how well it sold for them, especially as their most recent few albums had only just scraped gold I think.
December 27, 20204 yr Wasn't ABBA's The Singles - The First Ten Years, the Xmas number one in 1982??...Then John Lennon in the New Year?
