Omg yes. I'm not gonna lie here, Love Is Dead has not stood the test of time like the first two albums have for me so I really am hoping for some big synthy anthems!

Intrigued to hear how their sound has changed as Lauren says in the interview the tracks don't fit with their predecessors

I worry if they are saying the sound does not fit with its predecessors as their early work was brilliant.

Change can be a good thing!

This new album is apparently inspired by Depeche Mode. Consider me intrigued xx (always hyped for new music from CHVRCHES anyway of course, especially following 'Death Stranding' being my favourite song of 2019 though of course not expecting their new stuff to sound anything even remotely close to that).

Excellent. Very excited!

Hoping to get something as euphoric as 'Never Say Die'

I'm not sure how the fanbase will receive this, but I'm absolutely loving it! A bit Charli XCX-ish, while still definitely sounding like CHVRCHES

The vocals are too much. Those vocals are tinitus-inducing.

First listen and I don't love it. It feels so paper thin & hollow compared to their previous stuff, which is kind of the problem I have with "PC Music" and artists like Charli etc.. it just leaves me feeling cold and empty.

We'll see what happens after a few more plays but yeah, not loving it </3

Pretty disappointed too. Hate the vocal effects and I was expecting a lot bigger chorus.
