If nothing new is coming out soon, it would be nice to see Harry's album finally hit #1

What an incredible update that is. Can’t believe that I Hope is at #92 and the OCC have decided to credit the remix. Nice consistency.

Shout out also to

#54 Perfect

#57 Shallow

#58 Dreams

#65 Baby Shark

#70 Mr. Brightside (surprisingly low actually)

#85 I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)

#89 Shotgun

#90 Don’t Stop Me Now

#94 Don’t Stop Believin

#95 This is Me

#99 Fleetwood Mac - Everywhere

LadBaby's impact :o

No big album releases next week either unfortunately. Week after You Me At Six, Shame and Why Don't We could all go top 10 (if not higher).

Bring Me The Horizon have physicals of their EP out on the 29th, and Foo Fighters should provide big opening numbers at the start of February.

Wikipedia says that Drake's album is coming on Jan 15, although cannot find a reliable source (except that it's coming this month)

Once streaming is factored in

Streaming's already factored in and Little Mix are selling more than Ed and CJ daily

LM are behind both on Spotify

LM are behind both on Spotify

Not by much and there are many other streaming services out there - they are #1 on Amazon for example.

And yet they're still outselling daily...

People are eager to get LM to #1. So many versions on iTunes and their NTFT collaborator is even endorsing them to get #1

Come on Little Mix!!!! :cheer:

Surprised "Midnight Sky" is at #26 despite being on ACR. Although it's likely benefiting from the low streaming as it's still doing quite well on iTunes. Fingers crossed it'll pick up enough in streaming to get reset back to SCR this week.

Happy to see "Plastic Hearts" #13 in the album chart - even with sales being so low.

I think the next couple weeks are going to be even worse for sales given the lockdown announcement tonight. :(

And apparently some people are very eager for LM to not get a #1.

Nobody is denying that LM fans are doing all they can to get #1. The point they were making is that despite being behind Ed and CJ on Spotify and Youtube and Apple (CJ at least, they’re above Ed), they increased their lead still yesterday. So they’re obviously at this point selling enough and stream enough on Amazon to outdo the small differences in numbers from the platforms that are missing. And they’ve probably sold almost double today of what they did yesterday on iTunes. So your assumption that they’ll fall behind either of those acts are baseless.

Oooooh I'd love to see Harry get a new peak, #3 seems ridiculous based on how well it's done. It feels a bit like when Ellie Goulding got a new peak with Halcyon over a year after it was released.

Yay for Sophie's re-entry too. :cheer:

The low sales has opened the window brilliantly for some songs and albums that deserve new peaks, Harry def deserves a new peak and its great to see Sophie Ellis bextor getting a great rebound.
Looks like Ed or CJ could stop LM going to #1

I'm just going to bookmark this page :(

Wow at Dance Monkey being back in the top 40, I like the song but I really wanted Tones to not be a one hit wonder, albeit a stupendously succesful one. Never Seen the Rain and Johnny Run Away deserved better here.

Crazy low album sales!!

Little Mix dominating iTunes rn!!! let's hope they can secure it :cheer:

I see a few are already trying to belittle Little Mix's success.

If you look at the figures even without downloads they are streaming slightly more than Ed and CJ, so even with the mass download they would of been very close to both anyway...

will we get a new record breaker for low album number one sales this week then? would be great if Dua didn’t hold that record forever but nonetheless the low sales in both charts are sad to see.
