115 = Shift K3Y // Do Me No Good = 150pts

Chart Run (10-13-16-22-22-28-37-32-39)

Peak = 10

Weeks on Chart = 9 Weeks

Another dance banger next as Shift K3Y enter at 115 on my EOY Chart. Do Me No Good is another throwback of sorts and managed to peak at 10 in it’s first week and went on to spend 9 weeks on my chart in total. I guess the song a bit of generic dance... but sometimes that's what's needed. Shift K3Y is set to appear again having featured on one of my fave tracks of the year with Becky Hill…but I guess a wait to go before that one crops up.

114 = Dua Lipa // Hallucinate = 151pts

Chart Run (10-15-18-20-27-37-X-31-29-33-39)

Peak = 10

Weeks on Chart = 10 Weeks

At 114 is another entrant by Dua Lipa who still has a further 4 appearances on my EOY Chart. Halluncinate is probably the single I’ve listened to least from Dua’s Future Nostalgia album, however it did manage to peak at 10 in my chart and amassed 10 weeks in total on the Electro Chart from 2 separate chart stints. Dua’s had some fantastic songs out over the last year and continues to be one of the biggest UK female acts.

113 = Topic x A7S ft Lil Baby // Why Do You Lie to Me = 152pts

Chart Run (12-10-14-19-23-29-32-37)

Peak = 10

Weeks on Chart = 8 Weeks

At 113 is the follow-up song by Topic x A7S to Breaking Me; Why Do You Lie to Me. Breaking Me was a massive hit on my chart and is still to come on this chart, however Why Do You Lie to Me peaked at 10 and managed 8 weeks on my chart before exiting including 4 weeks in the top 20. I don’t think this is that bad a follow-up song to be honest however Breaking Me is a lot more instant and still a bop.

Diamonds and Hallucinate are two of the better charting songs from this year, both got stuck in my head at various points.

Giving 'Do Me No Good' a listen now, I get what you mean by 'generic dance' but it's done in a very good way, gets better towards the end for me as well.

French Kisses wasn't as good as Buss Down for me, but still a good collaboration between the two - can't wait for more new music from Aitch! :wub:

Yay for Hallucinate too - it took a while for that to fully grow on me; I really didn't get the hype when the album was first released, but now definitely yes *.*

112 = Lady GaGa // 911 = 153pts

Chart Run (21-07-11-14-19-26-36)

Peak = 07

Weeks on Chart = 7 Weeks

The first of 4 appearances by Lady GaGa on my EOY chart next as 911 managed to clock up enough points to enter at 112. The song wasn’t exactly heavily pushed, however it managed to gain a top 10 position with a peak of 7 on my chart. 911 however took a bit of a tumble down my chart and only amassed 7 weeks there. I guess not the best GaGa song in the world, however her resurgence on the charts has meant I’ve gone back and listened more to her previous songs…. Which ultimately has made Alejandro my fave :D

111 = The Vamps // Would You = 156pts

Chart Run (06-15-23-29-26-28-31-33-35-37-32-X)

Peak = 06

Weeks on Chart = 11 Weeks (Still Charting)

At 111 is the first appearance by the Vamps who released Cherry Blossom this year and gained their second Number 1 album (we wont talk about that drop though). Would You is an album track which kinda got into my head when the album was released. It entered my chart at 6, however tumbled down and then stabilised at the lower end of my chart. In total it has stayed on my chart for 11 weeks and is still charting, its not as good as Married in Vegas or Better which both made it to the top of my chart, but still a good track.

110 = CamelPhat x ARTBAT ft RHODES // For a Feeling = 164pts

Chart Run (06-10-16-22-24-27-30-33-37)

Peak = 06

Weeks on Chart = 9 Weeks

The start of a it of a dance run next as CamelPhat make their first appearance on my EOY chart with For a Feeling. This if the first of 5 appearance by the dance act who haver been a bit of a dominant force on my chart this year…and last year too! For a Feeling entered the chart at 6 and managed 2 weeks in the top 10 in total before dropping down the chart. The song managed 9 weeks in total before exiting my top 40, probably not one of my most played CamelPhat songs, but a good song nonetheless.

911 and Would You :wub: The former took a while to grow - it was probably down the bottom end of my Chromatica ranking initially, but now it's a firm fave. Glad to see that appear!

Would You is a great track too, probably not one I've gone back to loads from Cherry Blossom, but yay! Hopefully more from that still to come :cool:

Off course :D expect a couple not to appear for quite a while :D

109 = Sofi Tukker x Gorgon City // House Arrest = 165pts

Chart Run (21-23-16-14-18-27-25-30-33-38)

Peak = 14

Weeks on Chart = 10 Weeks

The first appearance of Gorgon City next who scored a massive hit last year with Baggage. House Arrest was oddly released around the first lockdown and managed to get to Number 14, spending 10 weeks in total on my chart. The song is alright, however not one that I’ve returned to greatly. Gorgon City have 1 more track to chart this year, they also just missed out on a third song in my EOY chart as Burning finished at 126th.

108 = Nathan Dawe x Little Mix // No Time for Tears = 165pts

Chart Run (21-03-04-06-04-X)

Peak = 03

Weeks on Chart = 5 Weeks (Still Charting)

A song which re-peaked on my chart this week and will no doubt be higher in 2021’s EOY Chart; No Time for Tears. This is the soul entrant by Nathan Dawe and the first of three appearances by Little Mix. I couldn’t stand Flowers which was Dawe’s breakthrough hit; not a patch on the original and added nothing to the song. His follow-up with KSI did nothing for me either, however No Time for Tears clicked with me. The song has spent 5 weeks so far charting and may well end up getting a new peak next week on my chart.

107 = M-22 x Arlissa & Kiana Lede // Eyes off You = 170pts

Chart Run (X-08-10-14-14-18-26-32-36)

Peak = 04 (Peaked in 2019)

Weeks on Chart = 8 Weeks (In 2020)

Up next a song which peaked in 2019 at Number 4 and actually made 58 on last years EOY Chart. Eyes off You was for the last Charlie’s Angels film and is just an all-round bop. It was massive on my chart in 2019 and managed to stay in my chart for a further 8 weeks in 2020 to continue to clock up points. This is the first and only appearance by M-22, unlike 2019 where multiple songs reached my EOY Chart.

106 = Ava Max // My Head & My Heart = 173pts

Chart Run (06-08-11-14-16-18-X)

Peak = 06

Weeks on Chart = 6 Weeks (Still Charting)

A surprise entrant next as I’m not the biggest Ava Max fan, however I do like My Head and My Heart. Sampling Around the World by ATC (which is an absolute bop) the song entered my chart at Number 6 and so far has managed 6 weeks on my chart and its still charting. Given its fallen a fair bit over the last few weeks, it’s probably doubtful that it will make my 2021 EOY Chart. Still a fun pop song, however I do prefer the original song that its sampled. This is the only song by Ava to reach my EOY Chart... In fact I think this was the only song by Ava save Sweet but Psycho that i've ever charted.

House Arrest is a brilliant dance song, one of the songs that soundtracked my lockdown even if not the best from either artist! Eyes Off You made my Top 20 early in the year although fell off quite quickly, and For A Feeling briefly made the lower end of my chart as well.
Would You was probably one of my least favourite songs on Cherry Blossom but that's quite high praise as there's no actual duds on there, a very cohesive album from them!
No Time For Tears is my favourite of those last few - still a decent song if very generic! :lol:
