Such a beautiful song, and probably the only thing I bother with from that album these days.

What I’d be really interested to know is how many pre download era songs there are (particularly from 2000 to 2006) that have gone on to become certified despite not even making their year end Top 200, like Wifey by Next. Not many I’d have thought.

'The Hope Six Demolition Project' had the unfortunate title of lowest selling #1 album with 17k to the end of its Top 100 chart run but must have racked up a fair few more sales since then. After two weeks of release (the time they spent on the chart), 'Cherry Bomb' was on 15k and 'SUCKAPUNCH' was on 14k, so no doubt they are still below PJ Harvey and fight for the unfortunate title (You Me At Six will currently be lowest but I imagine will be a better trickle seller than The Vamps).

Good to see Love Song going platinum - a real late noughties gem. It must be trickling well as it wasn’t even silver at the end of 2008.
