Really, very excited for this on Friday. 'Choker' is already one of my fave of theirs and I love 'Shy Away' too. :wub:

Took a cheeky listen to this on break at work... it's better than 'Trench' but still a fair bit behind 'Vessel' & 'Blurryface' for me.

 

I love 'Formidable' and 'Saturday' a lot. I think them 2 along with 'Choker' & 'Shy Away' are my highlights.

This is already growing on me. Really loving 'Formidable'!

I expected this to be much worse than it is from what I've heard, Bounce Man and Good Day are baaaad but there's some good stuff! The Outside *.*

 

The album works as a whole but it's their weakest for sure imo.

The singles from this album have been extremely underwhelming - 'Shy Away' was sort of ok but it really didn't sound like lead single material in the slightest, 'Choker' was just a whole mess (it has a good song in it somewhere but it doesn't work as a whole package) and 'Saturday' is probably the worst song they've ever released for me, kind of painfully basic? I've never been a huge fan of them but there were singles I loved from all of their previous three albums so it's been very disappointing that the best they've mustered this time is 'decent album track' :( maybe there are better songs hidden somewhere on the album but the singles aren't giving me any reason to investigate really oops

 

At least 'Level Of Concern' was a bop if we pretend that was from this era xx
