April 20, 20214 yr The demo is from as far back as the Witness era, but it was "too poppy" back then and they wanted something more experimental ( :blink: ), but it's been mastered and re-recorded now, and apparently it pops off quite a bit. Someone even compared it to Never Really Over, so at least we know we'll get a solid Summer bop. It's out in May I think.
April 20, 20214 yr How can anything be "Too poppy" for Katy Perry? :lol: Which is exactly why Witness was poorly received. It had some big pop moments but was clearly an attempt to steer away from the bubblegum pop a bit.
