'Rather Be' :wub: :wub: close to my top points but no cigar.

 

I remember it hanging on in the top 40 for an eternity but never got bored of it.

We Are Young did a lot better than I thought it would :o It doesn't feel as well remembered as some other songs around the same time, but I always enjoy it when I hear it.

Ooh, my 28 and 29-pointers gone in one fell swoop!

 

I still love Rather Be and We Are Young - they're both fabulous songs and genuine 2010s classics!

We Are Young felt like one of those songs that managed to appeal to pretty much everyone. Brilliant song, glad it's done so well.

'Telephone' is FAR too high, it really isn't that good even by her standards.

Add me to the list of those amazed at We Are Young! I don't think it's aged very well but it sure was a fantastic #1 at the time. A shame we never got another album from fun. </3

No 1 for 2 weeks in March/April 2010- Into the top 5 with Lady Gaga’s most popular No 1 on Buzzjack (since 2010) and our favourite chart topper of 2010. A new rate record of 21 voters went for this with Dot Branning and AaronTM giving it their 30 points.

Ah really pleased that’s the top 4 - even though I gave Telephone points I think it was time for it to drop out.

The lowest amount of points I gave to a song in the top 5 was 20, so am delighted with this result and don't really mind the order as I'd rank them all pretty similarly - my top 3 significantly higher and they've already gone, beyond that was another 12 or so great songs of which the order could probably change quite often.

Glad that Someone Like You did so well here! :wub: Rather Be and Telephone are other highlights from the top ten so far but neither were particularly close to getting points from me, I wouldn't have predicted the latter finishing as high as number five! :o

 

That leaves me with a whole two points left to give so it's pretty unlikely at this stage that it'll make a difference to any positions but really hoping it can go on to win this as it's my favourite remaining track by some distance.

30 points to Someone Like You and it still lands just short of the top 5... I should have been tactical and given maximum points to STIUTK instead. Well, she sang it like she meant every word, and that was good enough for me.

Oh SLY deserved top 5, but it did well considering its a ballad and many probably dislike it just cos of that. I think it's one of the best songs ever in the history of music, one that really comes from the guts and it's not fake. I actually thought I had given it a 30 but it was just 29 it seems :)

A record 22 voters gave this points (half of all voters) and we say goodbye to Mango and Ready For It who didn’t give any votes to the top 3.

I guess Titanium only didn’t make my votes because of overplay. It is fabulous and fully deserves its Top 5 placing. I love the story behind it and how it resurrected Sia’s career too. I can also vouch for it being the best ever song to hear echoing through a tunnel during an endurance event!

 

I suspect the winner will be We Found Love, which is very good, but I’d love it to be one of the others!
