Same! There's been too many of late, I'm a bit tired of them right now.

I can definitely see this being their last album before a split/break. One Direction, Fifth Harmony and Spice Girls all released a final album after their members left and then quickly went their seperate ways afterwards. I understand Little Mix are different but this just seems like a way to go ahead with the final tour and they need some material as a 3 piece for the setlist.

 

 

We'll see.

 

If they do decide to call it a day, then that's great. They've exceeded many, MANY expectations. Defied all odds not only for a girl group but for a pop group of their status. Coming up to 10 years of literally being on top of the pop landscape.

 

I'd like to see what they can bring as a 3-piece before deciding to write them off. Excited for this next chapter for them and and excited for whatever the future holds for them!

When do you all think we're likely to hear a new single/song? April/May?

I would say April. If its for LM7 I can see this being similar to the original Confetti run. 1st single in April, 2nd single around end of July (which will be a big summer single) and then the album maybe in August to coincide with the anniversary?

I'd like them to announce the postponed of the Confetti tour and follow it up with good news of a new single coming!

Apparently the postponement announcement of the tour is on Monday and the new tour dates will be April/May 2022 according to someone on PJ

Perrie confirmed that she's really excited for the new song and that it's a "bop"

edit: adding to this!! they're shooting the music video for it in the next few weeks, so looks like they're taking the Sweet Melody approach and having it all ready to go from the off

She said the single is coming “pretty soon” but she doesn’t know the actual release date. Maybe sometime in early March? If the video doesn’t have a lot of special effects or anything, it shouldn’t take too long to turn it around and have it ready by then.

I’m not expecting anything until April, by that time sweet melody will be completely gone and no time for tears will be too, whether it hits a new peak or not. March gives them time to rest and then if the single is at the end of April, it means we’ve gone a while without Little Mix and hopefully reduces the overexposure chances

Sweet Melody and No Time for Tears will both pretty much be gone by March. I don’t think overexposure is a worry right now. I think they need to ride off the hype of a number #1 single and a member leaving and push forward. If the song is ready, the music video is about to be filmed and the tour is getting pushed back a year, they might as well release it in March or early April and they’ll be able to promote it.

I am really excited to see where this is going to go as a 3 piece. I just have a weird gut-feeling that it's going to work out for them? It's so bizarre. :lol: A new single in early Spring would be ideal, I think. Nice to hear about the video likely to be ready by the time of release. :D
