139. DON'T CRY [Avg. 5.95]
140. CHAOTIC [Avg. 5.83]

At the top end of this section is the 'Circus' bonus track ROCK ME IN. I'm actually quite surprised it's not a little higher tbh. I assumed it would be slightly more popular, but I guess not. It's a BOP! Infectiously catchy. Next at #132 we have SODA POP. A bubblegum pop track infused with slight reggaeton influences and serves as a cute little bop. Up next is a song I now hold dear to my heart BRIGHTEST MORNING STAR taken from 'Britney Jean'. It's a track I strongly associate with Tyler as I know it was one of his favourites from that album and the message of the song strongly resonates to him for me now. R.I.P Tyler! Missing you dearly

At #134 is another 'Baby One More Time' album track, this time we lose THINKIN' ABOUT YOU. Another cute bop. Definitely one of the stronger "filler" on the album. #135 we see the 2nd 'Femme Fatale' track to fall. DON'T KEEP ME WAITING takes the 'Femme Fatale' dance-pop sound, but gives it a rockier and grittier edge. It's a bop. Next at #136 is the remixed version of Rihanna's smash hit S&M. The song that gave us "Flu-ney" :') Right after this at #137 is the excellent (and under appreciated, imo) Miley Cyrus collaboration SMS (BANGERZ). A collaboration that seemed to be a long time coming as Miley is a HUUUUUUGE Britney stan and I feel like it suited Miley's album well! I love it.

The final 3 songs of this section starts off with an 'Oops!... I Did It Again' bonus album track GIRL IN THE MIRROR, which is a ballad about heart break and self reflection. It's so cute. Up next is a 'Britney Jean' album track... DON'T CRY. In the top half of the album for me, I think. It's lovely! Finally we get to CHAOTIC a song taken from the EP of the same name, which was released to coincide with the release of hers & K-F*ds reality TV show of the same name. It's a banger tbh.

I feel like 'Don't Cry' is the most underrated song on 'Britney Jean'.. It's so gorgeous!

129. FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY BROKEN HEART [Avg. 6.46]
130. HARD TO FORGET YA [Avg. 6.33]

We are starting this section with Walk On By b-side single of Stronger. I am kinda surprised to see it this high and above of the Tom's Diner, Outrageous etc which is next the canceled single from In The Zone era coz of Brit's knee injury. I do like this song, but this ranking says a lot... Next is electro funky Trouble For Me from Femme Fatale, I would rank this song somewhere in the middle of the record. Next is definitely one of the most unusual and special songs from first record a cover of Sonny/Cher The Beat Goes On. This is way to low imo. Next is another cover of Suzanne Vega Tom's Dinner from Gorgio Moroder's record. I love this re-make so bad that it was not pushed as a single :/. And we have another cover this time from The Rolling Stones (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction Brit has opened her legendary VMA 2000 performance with this track which has later translated into Oops!... I Did It Again performance. Next we have two Britney Jean tracks Now That i Found You and Body Ache, both highlights of the record especially Now That I Found You coz of such nice lyrics and sweet melody. Next to last spot is the forth single from ...Baby One More Time era. Beautiful ballad From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart which was actually only US single and last in this batch is a track from Glory Hard To Forget Ya, this one should have been higher imo. Such fun track.

Edited by Nick F1

'The Beat Goes On' is such a bop *.* it's an intentional rip-off of the All Seeing I version (they produced the Brit one too!) but a tune in any form.

'Brighest Morning Star' really makes me think of Tyler too, Jonjo. Lovely words.

'Walk On By' is amazing. I love it! So cute. 'Tom's Diner' is v underrated! Would've been a huge European smash if pushed I think & speaking of smashes with a push... as much as y'all keep doing it DIRTY (and, you really DO! :arrr: ) 'Now That I Found You' was a ready made, sure-fire radio SMASH. WHAT A SONG. I'm genuinely surprised more people don't take to it?
Ohhh Now That I Found You is a bit low! I really like it - that sound is dated now, but it's so uplifting. I think it, like most of the Britney Jean tracks, suffers from "is this even Britney's vocals?" and the album having such a bad reputation because of it. But a bop is a bop... x

119. SELFISH [Avg. 6.66]
120. LACE & LEATHER [Avg. 6.656]

As we head towards the top 100, we lose the final single from the 'Oops...!' album DON'T LET ME BE THE LAST TO KNOW at #111. A hreat break ballad that is often referred to as one of her weaker singles and many people think they wasted this single opportunity for one of the stronger tracks on OIDIA. At #112 is the smash single SCREAM & SHOUT. This became Britney's first UK #1 single since 'Everytime' in 2004... 9 years prior. I go through stages with this. Sometimes I don't like it, other times I will lose my shit to it. I never really go back to it though tbh. Up next is a track from her 3rd studio album, the lovely WHEN I FOUND YOU. As lovely as this song is, it's not really too exciting and it's in the bottom half of the album, for me.

Following on from that is BOMT bonus track AUTUMN GOODBYE. This is such a cute bop and would've easily found space on the standard version of her debut album. Just pure 90's fun pop bop joy! CLUMSY taken from her most recent studio album 'Glory', is next to fall out at #115. One of my least faves from the album... "Oops". It's fine, I just find it irritating more than I don't. Another track from 'Britney' falls out next, it's the magical and cute THAT'S WHERE YOU TAKE ME. A fave of mine when I was younger, I still vibe with it, just nowhere near as much now! Cute. BETTER, a 'Glory' bonus track is out next! Had this featured Justin Bieber at the time, I really think this could have been a hit for them both. It was very of the time and was perfect for radio back then! A bop.

Ladies & Gentlemen, MONA LISA is out next at #118. This was the song Britney rang a radio station up and got them to play, without letting her label know. I love this song so much. It's very dramatic and suits the theme of the song perfectly! Definitely recommend this to those who haven't heard it! SELFISH leaves us next. An album track from 'Femme Fatale' but a track I don't see too many care about tbh. It's catchy though. Finally at #120 is the 'Circus' track LACE & LEATHER. The pulsing bassline that we open with is dirrty deliciousness and it's catchy but it's never been a fave of mine.

I'll always have a soft spot for DLMBTLTK, it has such a pretty production and she sounds so lovely on it. Underrated

Lace and Leather is a Circus highlight, y'all are rude x

Better deserves so much better :(

One of the higlights from Glory.

Scream and Shout shockingly low :o

109. JUST LIKE ME [Avg. 7.125 (1 x 09)]
110. EVERYBODY [Avg. 7.06]

Leaving us in this batch, just before we hit the top 100, we have 'Femme Fatale' album track (DROP DEAD) BEAUTIFUL at #101. The track features Sabi who delivers the now infamous "steaming like a pot full of vegetables" line... ICONIC. It's a bop! Losing to that song due to having no 11's is 'Britney Jean' cut, TIL IT'S GONE. I guess it's a bop, but it's not one of my faves from BJ tbh. At #103 is 'Glory' closing track COUPURE ÉLECTRIQUE, which is more or less the French meaning of "blackout", which sent fans into a frenzy when the tracklist was revealed! Nice closer.

PERFUME is eliminated next. The 2nd single taken from 'Britney Jean' and it really deserved more and deserved to be a huge hit. It's the first ballad Britney had released as a single since 'Everytime' in 2004 and it's really underrated, imo. Another ballad next and this time it's the mesmerizingly beautiful WHERE ARE YOU NOW. This song has ALWAYS been a huge favourite of mine from her 2nd album. I'm sad to see it doesn't seem to resonate with too many more people on here </3 It's stunning and one of her finest vocal moments. At #106 is 'Blackout' bonus track OUTTA THIS WORLD a bop, don't get me wrong, but definitely bonus track material for that album!

Up next we lose Gasoline which is one of my least favourites from 'Femme Fatale'. I thought it was slightly more popular than this tough, so I'm kinda surprised it isn't top 100... 'Britney Jean' track PASSENGER is up next. A song that is (apparently) part Brit and the rest Myah Marie... irregardless... I love it. One of my faves from that mess of an album lmao! 'Glory' track JUST LIKE ME is next and falls out at #109. I like the message and theme of this song a lot! I think the song could be a bit more interesting though. Finally at #110 is EVERYBODY which was the 2nd of two original bonus tracks from her critically acclaimed and fan favourite album 'Blackout'. The song samples Eurythmics classic 'Sweet Dreams Are Made of These' and although it bops, I'm glad it's just a bonus track. I prefer everything else on that flawless album tbh.

At #96 we see, in my personal opinion, Britney's worst song leave. BLUR is an album track taken from Britney's 6th studio album 'Circus'. It seems to go for that "morning after, getting over a hangover" vibe that she did with 'Early Mornin'' on 'In The Zone', except, it just ends up being a bland and dull affair. The production feels more interesting than it actually is to me. Tinashe sampled the track wonderfully on her song 'Can't Say No' though. She's such a stan!

#97 is (I'VE JUST BEGUN) HAVING MY FUN, which was one of 3 songs recorded for her 'My Prerogative: Greatest Hits' collection. This one didn't receive the single treatment though, but it's a BOP! I actually think it's pretty underrated. It's quirky and bouncy and fits in with that era nicely, I think. Catchy!

Now it's time for another ballad SOMEDAY (I WILL UNDERSTAND) which seemed to be a minor single in places but didn't really "hit" anywhere and was used to promote 'Britney & Kevin: Chaotic'. It's a travesty tbh. This song is STUNNING. One of the very best Britney ballads, imo. The video is gorgeous too, with her bump <3

Managing to get top 100 at #99 is the mid-tempo bop of life from her record breaking 2nd album 'Oops...! I Did It Again' is the track ONE KISS FROM YOU. This song is one of the songs that, whenever I listen to the song, I immediately taken on a huge, nostalgic trip. Love this song a lot! It's cute and fits the OIDIA album perfectly!

Just scraping the top 100 at that milestone position, we have 'In The Zone' album track BRAVE NEW GIRL. A fun and bouncy pop number. Probably the most 'Britney'-era track on ITZ. I really don't know why, but rather randomly this reminds me of Victoria Beckham's 'Not Such An Innocent Girl' LMAO. :') I really don't know why! But I can definitely envision a similar video concept with this too! Aha.

097. (I'VE JUST BEGUN) HAVING MY FUN [Avg. 7.25 (2 x 09)]

After all these years despite owning the 'My Prerogative' greatest hits album since it's release. I NEVER realised this was the song off Bridesmaids when they are getting off the plane, always found the song really annoying

I can't believe 'Perfume' is out already, it's so good!

At #91 is one of my 11's! IF I'M DANCING is a song on the deluxe edition of her album 'Glory'. The production is stellar! It's infectious and it's ridiculously irresistible. The chorus is an ear-worm and really catchy. One of the most unique songs in recent times, imo. I don't think I've heard a song quite like it lol. I wish it was higher, but somehow I didn't expect it to get much further. The memes to this are fantastic too!

WHEN YOUR EYES SAY IT is next up at #92. The 'Oops...!' album track was heavily rumoured to be a single after 'Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know', but due to that under performing, it was scrapped! They should have released it in PLACE of DLMBTLTK tbh. Get major All Saints - Never Ever vibes from this. I was never a fan until we recently had our album listening party and tbh, it's absolutely gorgeous. I take back everything negative I said about this.

Time for another bonus track, this time from the 'Femme Fatale' album and it's one of Kylie Minogue's favourite tracks from the album... HE ABOUT TO LOSE ME. The production is absolutely stunning on this and I think this is the most "natural" Britney sounds on 'Femme Fatale'! It's lush. The middle-8 is one of her finest moments, imo. Lovely song.

Up next at #94 is one of 4 tracks taken from the Britney & Kevin: Chaotic EP. OVER TO YOU NOW was originally intended for 'In The Zone' iirc, and you can definitely tell with it's middle-Eastern pop vibes, but I can also see why it was left off. With a bit more sprucing up though, this would be killer!

At #95 we have LOVE ME DOWN. A song that I could definitely have seen being a big hit at the time, especially in Europe. The quirky, bouncy production feeds off of her attitude in her voice perfectly! It reminds me of
which was expected to represent Poland at Eurovision, but was cruelly robbed by some blandfest! But anyway... a BANGER! Check out the Margaret song if you get a chance and liked 'Love Me Down'!
