Posted February 9, 20214 yr I've heard practically nothing about this but it's apparently exploded on TikTok and looks set to become a top 20 hit this week with it already being at #13 on Spotify. I will give it a listen later in the week but the short clip I heard didn't sound too exciting. aNMpLQwu9Fk
February 23, 20214 yr This is quite good I think, it has a bit of garage influence too with the production which I like.
March 13, 20214 yr Still really like the original of this, the chorus reminds me of Craig David c.2000 with the production, b and h word aside of course as Craig was too polite to have used language like that. :)
March 16, 20214 yr This song is just a little bit weird to me - it's like the lyrical content doesn't seem to match the sound of the song, some of the lyrics sound like they should be over a drill beat and others seem like they should be over an afrobashment beat, but it's actually neither of them. Don't think it really works but at least it stands out a bit I guess, and I can see why there was some interest in the backstory of this collaboration. Also I noticed on second listen that A1 (I think) keeps adding the letter 'h' in the middle of words that don't have an h in them and I can never unhear that xx
