ive listened to it from start to finish once. on the way to college i played i can see you on repeat lol. in a study period so got it on shuffle and ill probably listen from start to finish again this evening! never really liked back to december origianlly but im loving it with the new recording!

I was always a bit of a fan of 'Dear John' (sorry x) but this version really has amped it up! It's so good.

I can't take how beautiful Enchanted is - it needs and deserves its moments like Cruel Summer is getting right now. The first time I've not been able to stop my self repeating on my first listen through.

Yes ! ! Love this song but couldn't work out why it was on another level !

Just finished the non-vault songs and WOW :cheeseblock: I absolutely loved it and her vocals were so stunning throughout!

 

The Story Of Us sounds SO good, the production being a bit more rock combined with the new vocals makes it so much better than the original imo!! Enchanted & Haunted (my 2 favourites from the original) were both sounding AMAZING and even better than their original versions too!

 

Unpopular opinion but right now it's just the first 2 songs that I need to get used to / weren't instantly hitting for me. Could very well just be that I was really tired when I started the album though :lol:

Actually felt the same about Mine - didn't quite land for me like the original but not with sparks Fly - that's just perfect to me :heart:

I'm getting LITERAL CHILLS DURING 'ENCHANTED' TF!?????

Ours is so lush - something about her voice now makes it even more appealing.

'Superman' continues to be one of the most underrated and under appreciated GEMS of her discography! It's SOOOO GOOD! 'Haunted' was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be :wub: LOVE LOVE LOVE that song so much!

 

The vault tracks are solid. I don't think Patrick was needed on 'Electric Touch' and that's odd because he has such a unique voice that it SHOULD feel like he was needed/added for a reason. But you could literally throw anyone else on the track with her and it'd be the same? Honestly, I think it should probably have been a solo song. It was really good though. 'When Emma Falls In Love' does feel like it's in the middle of the 'Fearless' and 'Speak Now' eras. I like it though.

 

'I Can See You' is gaining traction on socials, I'm not *quite* at that level yet, but it's solid. 'Castles Crumbling' is nice. I'm not a HUUUUGE Hayley fan and like Patrick, I'm not sure I would feel any different if it was her on this track or not tbh. 'Foolish One' is nice. Definitely the most filler of the 'Speak Now' era tbh, not just the vaults. 'Timeless' is GORGEOUS though. Probably the only one of the vault songs that I think could have actually made 'Speak Now' originally. Really beautiful!

I think the Speak Now vault is probably my favourite of the 3 so far :wub: I am OBSESSED with Electric Touch - it's probably in my top 5 of the album overall which is so ironic bc I was expecting not to like it when the tracklist was announced

I think Electric Touch is so elevated by the feature and probably one of the best songs she’s done for me. I can’t stop playing it!

 

Castles Crumbling was a bit disappointing but I Can See You floored me a bit too.

Her store still hasn't dispatched my stuff grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Looks like most people were listening to the album in order to start with! I expect 'Enchanted' and some of the vault tracks to start climbing quicker than other tracks. Lets gooo <3

I forgot just how perfect this album is :cheeseblock: (bar the obvious exception, screaming at it already nearly being last of the standard album tracks on the 1st update despite not even being in the final 3 tracks on the album)

 

Better than revenge is slaying considering it’s album placement! I’m surprised it’s ahead of enchanted considering it’s after it on the album, tho I guess that’s the power of the lyric change intrigue!
