 It was too quick for me to tell

if i'm honest, i'm a bit nervous about the 'produced' songs... there's no denying '1989' is her poppiest, most produced record and her re-recordings of IKYWT, 22 and WANGBT verge on slight karoake / underproduced to me.

That’s an interesting thought actually because they are the songs I actually prefer the originals of. I hope they don’t move too far away from the original.

Wildest dreams (TV) was a good start.

It is!

I hope it can climb above #1 & #2. As I prefer this track, by quite some distance! But I'm giggling that Harry Styles is at #1 with Lizzo & Taylor (both with v strong connections to him) right behind him

I’d love the Grammy museum version of OotW to make it as a vault track.

That would be awesome.

Just to hear this album Taylor’s way  …

OMG This was posted in the wrong thread?! LMAO oops.
'this love' seems an odd one to start the ball rolling on... i am hopeful she'll finally give light to 'new romantics' and let it become the #1 hit it deserved to be in 2014.

100% agreed with all of this!! Her re-recording of State of Grace was also flat af.

It’s an interesting point actually because in the two Taylor’s Version albums so far, my favourite songs have been album tracks / previously unreleased songs rather than the bigger hits which I’ve not necessarily preferred Taylor’s version of.

Although the 10 minute version of All Too Well has been my fav of all. I also loved This Love

Supposedly Bad Blood (TV) and Message in a Bottle are featured in the film DC League of Super-Pets, let's see if this is true or if this is more bullshit

There's a Bad Blood thread here now with a tweet from The Rock mentioning those two songs, so it's looking like it's true!

i'm sure you guys are aware about the shake it off lawsuit, if not i can give a quick explanation, but yeah the lawsuit has been pushed back till the 17th jan 2023 which means we won't get 1989 tv until at least then as she won't release it till the lawsuit is resolved

Ah I knew this lawsuit was going on but hadn’t connected the dots. Makes sense why there’s a delay (that’s assuming it was ever meant to be released earlier). I wonder if she’ll wait or just release a different TV instead.

fans have been saying that for months but don't get it

what difference does it make?
