What is with them releasing these dance collabs at the worst times?

 

'Only You' was their first single since their Glory Days era and took away some of the buzz that Woman Like Me would have generated, 'No Time For Teams' was released like a fortnight after their Confetti album in the midst of Sweet Melody promo and now they're releasing this a few weeks after their first single as a three piece.

 

It's such bad and awkward timing.

Perrie just said in her Capital interview that the next song after Confetti is going to be a "dance collaboration" with a beautiful video that's already filmed, definitely Heartbreak Anthem.

The more I listen to the unreleased version of this the more I think it has potential to be huge for them !

I love the song and I cannot wait for it to come out!

It's like it's taking forever to actually get released.

I think David's recent single with Joel Corry & RAYE actually taking off put a slight delay on this. I just want to add it to my playlists and spam it whenever I want lmaooo. It sounds very mid-10's but I don't think it's a bad thing at all and I'm intrigued to see if it can become a hit for them today (I'm low-key not expecting a lot ngl - but we'll see!)

Yes I agree it's not a bad thing, it brings me back to my prime clubbing days when I used to go out every weekend without fail. :lol: It sort of gives me early 10s too, after all that was when Guetta was at his prime. I used to LOVE 'Wild Ones' and HOW that song is 10 years old now is creeping me out.

The new release is said to be a big longer and more polished, so I'm hoping for an absolute banger. Bed is a SMASH so I'm hoping they can give us something with that quality, even if channels the 10s x Guetta sound.
