422.800 UK gold

I'd say it's within their biggest hits ever.

Absolutely 💯. I've been saying that. It's proving to be amongst their top 5 singles ever in the UK. Not just the UK, it's done well worldwide too. Still collecting over a million streams on spotify each day.

Love than run of 5 weeks at #5 in Ireland

Thought this would've been a bigger European hit tbh! Especially in Sweden where I thought Galantis were huge.

I think it would have been even bigger if it was promoted, but totally understandable why they couldn't due to pregnancies and the pandemic!

Such a smash of a song :cheer:

'Promo' isn't a thing in the streaming era, especially with Covid. It's just about sending it to radio and adding it to Spotify playlists and seeing if it'll take off. They were never going to travel the world performing this on morning TV/late night talk shows. Worst case scenario was that they had to skip a few radio interviews or refused a couple Zoom 'games' with the track playing in the background.

I wonder if stuff like festivals would've helped it? I know David Guetta played it at a couple of sets but this summer has obviously had a lot fewer (less? sorry english isn't my first language lol) festivals

Heartbreak Anthems reenters #98 in Hot 100 Canada.
Little Mix's 11th most streamed song on Spotify, just in three months.

Just goes to show what Spotify playlisting can do to a song.

Imagine if something like Sweet Melody (which HA has just passed on Spotify) had this kind of playlisting?

I agree completely.

Being very honest, I like HA - I prefer it to Kiss My (which is a decent song in it's right too). But they're not amongst my top Little Mix songs. Sweet Melody is that b*tch. If it had the playlisting HA enjoyed, it would have been such a worldwide smash. I hope their playlisting starts to improve. I don't really know how that happens - the label? Or just based on how popular an artiste is?
