February 20, 20214 yr I don’t really know why I keep opening this thread whenever anyone replies to it! :lol: It’s not like I have any involvement here and as most the artist forum mods know anyway I barely even get involved in the artist forums so it wouldn’t be right to participate, plus I haven’t got any experience of the previous AF Idol events. I’ll happily be a casual observer though. ^_^ This is open to everyone, you don’t have to be regular posters within AF’s, it’s a bit of fun and a good chance to interact with other posters, I highly advise submitting!
February 20, 20214 yr Author Just to clarify guys, each person will be representing ONE ARTIST (eight artists in total will take part, not sixteen), but you need to confirm TWO - your top choice and a back-up! This is to make sure we don't waste any time with reconfirmations etc. Make sure you're happy with your back-up artist's potential choices as well, just to be safe!

I’ll happily be a casual observer though. ^_^ I barely get involved in the artist forums and I had a great time last time on a whim, this is excellent if you have an artist you want more people to listen to a wider range of stuff from and doesn't require any particular knowledge of AF culture except for how to cheer for your favourite (and knowing how to pick songs I guess idk)

I have an artist as my first pick that it almost seems odd they're not in that list considering their status but it makes sense considering the rules on entering previous competitions. I have a shortlist of backup artists so it'll be whoever I feel like picking on the night!

February 20, 20214 yr Just touching on what awardinary & Iz have said, it doesn't matter how much or how little you've been involved in the past games. This is open to EVERYONE. Just make sure you confirm on time at 7pm on Sunday! This isn't just a pop or dance game. It's not just an indie or RnB game. It's open for you to flex your favourite artists discographies! You'll all be opening a thread to get input from other members, but make sure you still have a plan in place.

February 21, 20214 yr Author JUST TO CLARIFY B-sides can be used in the album track rounds but remember to keep your choice within the spirit of the round. If a single was used as a b-side at other points then obviously we won't be allowing that as a choice so bear that in mind, these rounds are exclusively for non-singles.
