'Lucky' is always referred to by Tyler as one of her most underrated iirc. He loves this song a lot!

 

It's a fantastic song though. The foreshadowing... :mellow: FREAKY.

 

Also, the spoken word middle-8 in 'Oops...!' is surely one of the most iconic middle-8's of all time?

20 years and I still have a bit of anger towards the UK public for making Stronger her first single to miss the UK Top 5. I mean, WHAT! This deserved so much more. For me this is one of her career highlights. It's so dramatic, boppy... the video was so perfect too.

I am surprised by how badly Oops has aged, though. It now sounds like what Abba songs sounded like in the 900s.

I LOOOOVE this song so much. I feel like it has a surprisingly decent cult following too! All it needs is the right exposure and it'll shoot up iTunes again, imo. That chairography is ICONIC. If you didn't attempt it at school, you didn't have a childhood tbh. I just remember my mind being blown that she was able to do all that lmaoooo!

This is BEAUTIFUL! Such a stunning video too. It made me question my sexuality. Love the country-pop vibes to this one.

Didn't you say before that it was released on a bad week? If released earlier or later it would have been top 3. A gloomy bop with a wintry video though.
