I like the subject matter of this song but find it a little overrated nonetheless - idk, I guess sonically it was a bit too close to what she'd done before by this point.

I was so pissed that Overprotected got released only in select countries :mad:

 

But this really represents TRL era :wub:

I looove Overprotected! Darkchild sucked the life right out of it with the remix, just like he did to all the Spicy Ones' songs, except Hollier/ LLTW, but especially WOMAN, to the point they had to scrap it like mouldy old cheese.

Omg she did the Jackson crotch dance in that!

 

I'm Not A Girl deserved no.1, but she had reaaally bad UK press at the time.

I've only ever seen the movie... once. I didn't finish it coz I had to go out lmao! I think it was rabb.it sesh on here :lol: If rabb.it is still a thing, I'll probably look into doing a forum watch of it again aha!

 

It's a nice song and I'd say it's essential Brit tbh, even though I don't "love" it. This one people seem to remember a lot!
