It's been years since I heard "Afterglow" for the first time at PES 2015. Hyped for this one!

 

Apparently, the song title is "Here For You" based on the copyright info.

#59 in the mids today for Used To This

Officially #51 today. Pity next week's Brit Awards effect won't work in its favour. -_-

Actually really liking 'Used To This', I got a little bored of the commercial DnB sound a while ago and this isn't exactly massively unique so not sure why but it's working for me, would be cool to see it making the top 40. (Then would have two drum n bass songs in the top 40 at once after literal years of the genre being absent unless I am forgetting something obvious?)

I'd say the last time it appeared in the Top 40 was 2015-16 with the likes of DJ Fresh, Sigma and Rudimental, but someone feel free to correct me.

Pleasantly surprised to see ‘Used to This’ close to the Top 40. The new Becky Hill collab sounds really good from the snippets so here’s hoping for similar success for that.

Album out today with of course Here For You as the focus track - it ain't quite another Afterglow but a solid effort.

 

Here for You was alright... but it sort of goes nowhere. I was expecting the chorus' to be big, but they fall flat.

 

Nice enough, but nothing to really go mental for

Here For You has much more chilled vibe than Afterglow ever had so it won't be on the same level, it's almost Liquid D&B instead. Becky sounds fab on it with a subtle vocal.

 

#40 on Spotify today is nothing to be sniffed at either, great start!

 

I'm also hoping Cognition will go on to be his best performing album chart wise. He's yet to even have a Top 40 album! It would be a great achievement for his own label too.

 

#8 is the current peak on iTunes for the album, but the physicals don't seem to be doing anything from the major outlets so I hope his own store brought the goods

Listened to this the other day, not really my main kind of thing but it was decent enough for the gym

Here For You has sneaked into the Top 40 in today's chart update :w00t:

Here For You just misses the Top 40 in the end, landing at #43.

Used To This climbed to #44.

 

The album reached #78 with 1,597 sales (#1 on the dance chart).
