I am also on the side of it's a bit tacky to be jumping into something so quickly, really a bit of space and time would have been better, but it's her life, her career, she's a talented girl and I'm sure she has a lot to offer solo. Good luck to her.

I'm changing this into her first album thread :lol:

 

We'll make a 1st single thread when things are more clear and when she has something for us to go on. I'm intrigued to hear what sound she is going to go for. I feel like she's gonna aim for an LM5 type pop with heavy R&B influences throughout kinda vibe. I'm also excited to hear it and see what I think coz I am really marmite on her voice and I feel like on her own it's gonna get a bit much for me, but we shall see!

It looks like a full tracklist to be (1-12, track 4 looks to be "Bad Guy" and track 12 "Camera Man"). Plus there's a ton of other artists names below, Tiana Major 9, Sinead Harnett, Teyana Taylor, Ray Blk and Izzy Bizu are some of the ones I can make out. Not sure if she'd have all these as features!? Maybe a sort of mood-board as to where she's going with the album.

wish she'd just announce something (but at the same time i don't want her to) i'm dying for her music

 

regarding the names on the board- all of those people are established artists, but i imagine it is more of a moodboard scenario as they all make that sort of midtempo/moody r&b music that Jesy likes, Sinead Harnett is the original singer of "Be the One" that Jesy covered a while ago, so I imagine it's either potential collabs/writers/inspiration.

I don’t think ‘included’ is the correct word to be fair.

That makes it sound like the girls excluded her which they never did. They just respected that she didn’t want to do certain things.

Yeah I agree, Jesy was always very included and she was also the face of the group for the most part, especially when it came to public speaking and affirming their place.

 

She just didn't want to do certain things and the girl's respected that, they've always had very different tastes as far as music/sound goes.

I am totally shocked with some of the comments in this thread :o

 

Anyway I look forward to hearing her first single when it arrives :)
