I absolutely hate myself for thinking this, but is my whole approach to her solo career… It saddens me that I can’t help it, but I have been really put off Jesy since she left the band.

 

I feel the same. I wish when she left the group she said that wanting to work on her own solo music was part of the reason. At least then this would all make more sense. I really hope she’s happy now though and her new music does well for her.

According to Jesy during her interview with Noctis magazine the next single is potentially a song called 'Heartbreak Hotel' - it is apparently a metaphor for where we all go in our heads when we are heartbroken. Whether you've lost someone, broken up with someone or you feel depresse'.

 

She apparently hopes to perform it at The Brits next year.

 

 

She also mentioned another song that is about what it is like growing up in this day and age with instagram and the stigma of what a girl should look like.

The melody of that song seems really familiar. This is more what I expected from Jesy and I would love to hear some big vocals because she can belt.

Jesy just did an instagram live, it was basically like Eat In With Little Mix, it was hilarious - her and her friends were trying to make pancakes and trying to flip them.

 

She said she's written 9 songs for the album so far and is still writing.

 

She said there will be a tour.

 

BOYZ merch is coming soon and she helped design them. She also teased an upcoming song off of the album which is really dark.

 

She said she can't wait to see everyone soon.

 

The instagram live was only viewable to people she had open DM's with on instagram.

She's pulled out of her first gig this weekend as she's tested for Covid.
Either that or she’s like naaaa I’m not prepared to get boo’d!
what gig was it? what is she even going to perform??
