surely there must be some new music news... or is she really going to wait until the Little Mix tour starts :lol:

 

Well she's been grieving the loss of her grandmother, which she posted on instagram last week. I still don’t get the need for snide comments about her unprovoked, what's next how dare Jesy post about music on the day Perrie is spotted getting milk? It's getting ridiculous at this point.

 

She was scheduled to go to LA in the next few days to record, we'll see if she still does.

I wonder when the 2nd single will get released,, she had alot of interest with the first single due to it been her first release and the whole fallout drama etc but I cant help but feel she has an uphill battle with her next single unless it's a really strong standout song.

I agree, I don't think the big gap is helping things unless her team think they need to wait for things to 'die down' and find that 'big' song in the meantime.

 

It seems like she's recorded A LOT of music so far. She just needs that right song, rooting for her and all the girls to do well solo.

For some reason I think she is going to have a similar type story to liam Payne of One Direction where the singles will be very mixed and rely on features, collaborations etc.

I actually think she's wise to have waited so long. Boyz charted well but was a critical disaster much like the entire campaign. Leaving a decent chunk of time for the dust to settle gives time to regroup.

 

June would be a good release with a third single in September and album in October. By the the tours over and people will have their eyes on all four of them. Her coming back with a strong sound ahead of the other three could help.

 

But realistically she's not going to be the Harry of the group.

I agree with you guys she's definitely not going to be the Harry Styles of the group. I'm just hoping she comes back strong with the next single.

 

A summer single would be great.

I think she’s pretty much over now to be honest, all the goodwill in the world for her has evaporated. It’s a shame because she was my personal favourite voice in a pop star etc but it is what it is!

Her likes on posts are so so so low now, I mean who cares but it does show that her popularity seems to be decreasing with less engagement.

In regards to Shadow’s comment about her tan, people do tend to get darker when they’ve been in a hot country for 6/7 weeks sunbathing so it’s hardly shocking. Although I agree the Coachella video does not help her. Let’s please not argue about her tan, as I think we’ve all said a lot about it and will just go in circles and just respect we each have different thoughts/opinions which is fair enough, let’s try keep this thread music related.

I wonder if Jesy’s problem is that she’s surrounded by enablers who make excuses for her and refuse to acknowledge the issue and instead try shut down any criticism and change the subject?

 

There’s nothing music related to discuss with this woman. She will never release an album. It’s been six months and she hasn’t even released a second single. Her music career is over. Blackfishing is all she has.
