Here is the top 10: The UK's Official Top 10 women album artists – 2000 to 2021 POS ARTIST 1 ADELE 2 P!NK 3 MADONNA 4 RIHANNA 5 DIDO 6 AMY WINEHOUSE 7 KYLIE MINOGUE 8 BEYONCE 9 BRITNEY SPEARS 10 LADY GAGA So happy to see Pink so high up and the highest non Brit! When people discuss female artists, she’s usually forgotten behind Britney, Gaga, Katy, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc but it’s so good to see her here. Love seeing Dido there too.
March 8, 20214 yr I don't think I would have expected P!nk to be that high! Especially above Madonna and Rihanna - all of them have had a string of successful albums this century, a few of which are over 1m, but I think the latter two have more cultural impact and are perceived as being more successful by the public. Just had a quick add up of P!nk's albums and I think her total sales stand at about 9.5m.
March 8, 20214 yr Amazing for P!nk. Her longevity is amazing too. I assume her albums are good trickle sellers as she usually gets lots of recurrent airplay from the likes of heart etc?
