klum rep is a BEAUTY.

tartford out is not a surprise at all - it was good but honestly 9 minutes was wayyy too long, and that kind of thing doesn't bother me!

Aww no at twst doing that badly oops - it did rather well on PopJustice and if anything I feel like it's actually more of a BJSC type song than a PJSC one so that is rather shocking?!

I was shocked (and displeased) at the lack of votes for it, such a good song.

Kingdom of Horanius finally pulling off a qualifier after 4 and a half years!! (of only occasionally popping in but still). This was a solid entry from them so glad to see it in, in fairness most of their previous entries were pretty obvious DNQs!

Loveeee Klum this month, manifesting this to not be another underperformance pls x

YAY us! :cheer: Thanks for voting!

Kingdom of Horanius is a surprise qualifier to me! Come through Euro summer smash! Tartford not so much, bit long for what it was.

Whizzing straight to the final we have:

KINGDOM OF HORANIUS

and

KLUMINICAN REPUBLIC

but we also have to say so long and farewell to

TARTFORD

First time I qualified yas!

First time I qualified yas!

My huge congratulations to you! :D

Thanks for getting that out the way after those bizarre unanimous predictions was almost getting me hopeful  Definitely not the right semi and it was a big risk anyway so eh x all of your losses though, won't find a better album right now than the Inevitable Relapse

Happy 90th contest :'(

Happy 90th to me :'(

is it ur 90th?! it's mine as well!!

also if i'm right this is the first ever qualifier for kingdom of horanius? what's been the longest wait between debut and first qualifier?

Not 100% certain and it's effort to check but I would assume it's Tartford (debuted in BJSC 10, first qualified in BJSC 60). Quintessa similarly had a gap of quite a few years due to taking a long break after an initial run of DNQs but not as long as KoH's. Obviously Singerpurear still hold the record for most entries before their first qualifier although it was much shorter in terms of time since they were all consecutive.

Whizzing straight into the final on their return to the contest, we have:

N DNTN

and whizzing straight off the end of the exit ramp we have:

SANDENIA

N DNTN back with a bang  (yay for at least half of 152wild making the final xx)

Sorry just catching up. FSR Rontvia :nocheer:

Loved both Dobago and Trifoski <3 the latter serving some Pendulum vibes.

Petula Clark appeared in a BJSC final with a song recorded when she was ~80 I believe (although it was an auto-qualifier). And technically Connie Francis was also in her 80s when she had a song in the BJSC final a couple of years ago although that was of course a song recorded when she was much younger.

It was me that sent Petula and she was 79. She’s 88 now. What even is time
