March 22, 20214 yr I heard she was on pre ordering for ages, wasnt she? So it kinda makes much sense. If thats the case she shous finish the week with less than 40k of sales, with justin b at around 18-22 Since January, hardly ages

March 22, 20214 yr I am completely giving up on trying to understand which artists are and aren't matching/beating the sales of their previous eras at this point :lol: The length of time on pre-order is no doubt a big factor here but I think also that this is a case of any publicity being good publicity - people have been calling this a quiet release with no buzz despite the fact that her name has been all over the place for months (mostly not for reasons relating to her music, but it still keeps her name out there for people who are interested in her music regardless of all her other antics, and remember that initial controversial Instagram post from her was doubling as the original announcement for this album). Then again, that didn't really pan out for Sia. I choose to believe that's just because the public realised Sia's recent music is garbage though. x

March 22, 20214 yr Amazing for Lana! I didn't see this selling more than NFR in its first week at all. Maybe the critical success and acclaim of that is a reason for COTCC doing so well already.
March 22, 20214 yr Lana is done already better than many albums did on Q4 last year, like even better than Paul McCartney on Xmas week, better than Ariana, Taylor, Ball & Boe,... Everybody's misfiring lately, so really nice to see Lana doing so well
