There's 186 songs in total! We had raters of 18/21/19/19 across the 4 rates which I'm so happy with

The first section of 6 will be up within the next hour. Your hint for this section is, the deadline I posted in part 4 might've been more appropriate x

Let's go :cheer: :cheer:

edit: yep I just reposted this again to get it onto page 2 :kink:

Omg excited for this! I did so much Taylor listening this week to make it for the deadline! I'm really unsure what Buzzjack's favourite Taylor song would be? I'd guess one of Blank Space/I Knew You Were Trouble and Wildest Dreams? Crazy the latter only went to #40, I think it's platinum now in the UK?

This made me laugh. That was me around Christmas time, cramming in listening to the first couple of albums getting myself confused and then doubting myself over what my version of an 8/10 is / was :D

#181-#186:

181. Two Is Better Than One (Boys Like Girls ft. Taylor Swift) [Avg. 5.63]
182. White Christmas [Avg. 5.62]
183. Beautiful Eyes [Avg. 5.58]
184. Santa Baby [Avg. 5.35]
185. I Heart? [Avg. 5.25]
186. Silent Night [Avg. 4.62]

Highest/Lower scorers will appear later on cos it'll take too long but I'll note any noteworthy stuff in the commentary below! Also thx to the Britney forum & mods for the way they set out the results <3 (go check them out!).

well this section is pretty easy to split commentary. 3 xmas songs. 3 non album songs. no one should be shocked at that considering the reaction to the xmas EP + how badly the non album singles did in the singles rate (though 2 of these 3 aren't singles)

So first out, and in absolute DEAD last is Silent Night. I love Taylor with all my heart. This is painful. So beyond painful. Possibly her worst vocals ever? I high-key never want to hear it again :kink: Anyway it did so awfully that I think the gap between SN & 2nd last is the highest in the whole rate!! It received 3 scores above a 5 which says it all (and I was the lowest scorer for it! :o). Also leaving from the Christmas EP we have her passable version of boring xmas classic of White Christmas, unsurprisingly departing early. However it has a whole point higher than a certain other xmas song in this section :kink: I knew the Xmas EP was gonna get slaughtered here but her version of Santa Baby deserved bottom and not be bottom 3  Her vocals aren't great on this either but this time it adds to the charm and I'm starting to regularly go back to it each Xmas! It's nice to see basically all of the averages pass 5.25!!

Talking of deserved better, Y'ALL DID BEAUTIFUL EYES SO WRONG   Maybe I might be slightly biased as its one of the first Taylor songs I ever heard so it's always held a special place in my heart (it was the B-Side on the physical CD of Love Story!) so I've always loved it. The chorus is charming and its just a beautiful little song  I really hope this ends up on the vault version for self titled or Fearless! Unsurprisingly, I was by far the highest scorer for it, giving it a 9.5 which is the 2nd highest score lost this round! That's only beaten by I Heart which received a 10 from DionTheSats! I Heart? is another song from around the same time as Beautiful Eyes so I'm not too surprised to see them close together here. However I Heart can thank the Xmas songs being included for avoiding the wooden spoon. I wonder if that could also show up on the re-recordings?! Also exiting is our first single to leave this rate, her collaboration with Boys Like Girls, 'Two Is Better Than One'. Yeah it's just a f***ing boring song and deserving to be this low. Bye.
I Heart ? is cute but I could quite easily go the rest of my life not listening to any of those songs so no big loss
Yeah I agree, definitely no great loss with any of these songs going out first although I am questioning my own hearing abilities because I’m pretty sure I gave silent night the highest score out of all the Christmas songs. It was the vocals on last Christmas that grated on me!
I don't think any of those are *that* awful but I definitely wouldn't listen to them out of choice so no big loss

And your hint for the next section is...

how many Xmas/Non-Album Singles will drop out :kink: or will another era lose something :o

I can also tell you the next section is the last one where none of the songs averaged 6+!!

Ready For It will be bringing you this section sometime soon :cheer:

Nailed the last place prediction

'Two Is Better Than One' is probably my favourite of that section. It's weirdly nostalgic as I used to watch BillboardGoddess' (RIP to that channel) Hot 100 videos around the time it was charting and that clip is still lodged in my brain even now *_* thankfully 'Christmas Tree Farm' is much better than that EP x

180. You Need to Calm Down (CB remix) [Avg. 5.65]

179. Highway Don't Care [Avg. 5.79]

178. Beautiful Ghosts [Avg. 5.84]

177. Christmas Must Be Something More [Avg. 5.85]

176. Christmases When You Were Mine [Avg. 5.97]

175. Last Christmas [Avg. 6.00]

First out in this section is a remix of a song from Taylor's Lover album. It received two 9s (DionTheSats123 and me), several 5s, and a 3 (Cremey).

Second out is a collaboration with Tim McGraw that received one high score of 9 (DionTheSats123) and a low score of 3 (Cremey).

Third out is a soundtrack song from Cats that seems to be underrated. It received a lot of 4s, a high score of 10 (DionTheSats123) and a low score of -1 (Klumzee).

The other three out are Christmas songs, which probably comes as no surprise. Scores range from a 1 to a 9 for these three.

Edited by ...ready for it

I can't say I agree! I'm really not a fan of Beautiful Ghosts. I think Highway Don't Care is a little better although I haven't really listened to it since making my rate. But Last Christmas is awful imo - I don't know whay that would do that to her?!
