Very nice result, thank you to all who gave me points, I've been sitting on that one for a little while and it felt so pop-rock to me. Excellent winner to top off a rather good contest all around, well done Uhsting, it stood out so much, and love that The Birthday Massacre did so well, long-time fave that's never let me down yet.

I'm over the moon with 5th place as I said before - thanks for all the votes for Hey Monday! I ended up finding some other songs I wish I'd sent but no regrets now :D

Good contest, was pleasantly surprised by the amount of songs I did like, but have to say the winning song was one of three I discounted after the first listen! :lol:

I predicted very early on in the SyncTube listenthrough that Lilith Czar could be the winner, it just immediately had that vibe to me - and happy to see it did because it was an easy standout! Congrats to uhsting (nice to see you having better fortunes in a song contest for once!) :heart: Also... Chez coming 2nd :cheeseblock:

 

Wonderful to see VERO making the top 10 as well (thanks for that discovery Addy, I am always here for more post-punk adjacent music being sent to these contests :wub:) as well as Lucia & The Best Boys (although them being denied a top 5 result again xx) and a shockingly actually good song from Echosmith who I've not enjoyed anything from before this song, a few more from my votes are up there as well!

 

To be honest I was kinda expecting Cherry Glazerr to do a little bit better than 14th here but at the end of the day it's still one of my best results in this contest (and certainly a hell of a lot better than coming 42nd last time lmao) so I shouldn't complain :kink: thanks to those who did vote for it anyway and thanks Lindsey for running this, really enjoyed listening to the songs even though I missed out on following the results.
