They just got #1 on the Big Top 40 show which is good for them even though the chart doesn't really count for anything :P The DJ is even calling the big top 40 official now

I don’t think it being added to HHUK is dependent on how much RCA cares about the single? Pretty sure it’s mostly down to Spotify.

I'm really not expecting this to be added to Hot Hits. I can't think of any times when Spotify have re-added a song.

 

This happens all the time, Spotify adds an album track when an artist releases an album and then when they try and make it a single it doesn't get added.

I am sure Jade said in their Zach Sang interview that Confetti was always planned to be the final single from the campaign and that Jesy leaving meant that they had to rejig it to stay on schedule?

I’m sure their label negotiate with Spotify to get songs on the bigger, national playlists. that’s why their songs are rarely on TTH.

Jesy isn’t actually credited on the song. That was a mistake on iTunes. If you look at the credits in the actual album booklet she’s not listed and she’s not listed on the remix either.

I really hope it becomes a top 10 hit. There is a mass buy event today at 3pm. But it seems spotify is the most important platform.

Yeah .I think Spotify will be crucial for this going top 10. Hopefully the mass buying can get it too 20 at least come Friday’s chart.
