tbh even if it does peak at #11 it's done incredible for a fourth single and a single released after an album, it's had great streaming support too and normally artists struggle to release anything after an album now

I mean, to be fair it's a new beefed up version of the song with a popular featured artist attached to it so let's try stay objective here.

even if it is a remixed version, it doesn't always mean spotify will put high on playlists etc, they still rarely do.

Yeah, they’ve left out big featured singles before from albums.

It’s done amazingly well, I think it’s just the fact it even has a chance of going top 10 as a 4th single from a Little Mix album just seems mad (given 2019).

HA is definitely going to fly above it now. I guess it depends on if Rasputin drops and how well the mass buy has done whether it can sneak in.

Yeah I do agree that for a 4th single, remix or not, it's done incredibly well for them. And is a bigger hit than the lead single and Holiday!

But it's just an expected shame to not see the label reacting to the fact they could get an easy top 10 with it this week.

Sorry where exactly in the UK is Saweetie popular? With all due respect, her verse is great, but she’s no Stormzy with Power. Her presence alone wouldn’t do anything for the song in the UK.

Ty Dolla is a much more well known name and TAU did way worse.

Agreed. Best Friend was her first Top 40 in the UK and I don't think that even cracked the top 30. Not that chart positions matter but I honestly thought she was more of an influencer when I'd seen her online in the past

I thought it might have climbed higher due to its placement on HHUK 😕

The main version at 39 doesn’t include any streaming figures for any of the remixes or Acoustic does it?

I guess that helps narrow the gap a little to Rasputin/mimi etc..

No it doesn't include the other versions.

I guess she’s popular from a stan/pop culture point of view, but she’s defiantly not well known in the UK, so she doesn’t add much from a commercial perspective.

Doesn’t mean her verse wasn’t great though.

The difference with Saweetie and their other remixed rappers is that Saweetie is up and coming and getting more and more popular.

Although having said that my mate messaged me the day Confetti premiered and said (literally copy and pasting)

"As if little mix managed to bag saweetie for a track

First Nicki and now saweetie? are they putting themselves in debt?"

So she is seen as a pretty big deal by casuals.

probs cause of the Doja track but Saweetie really isn't that big, if anything this was service to Saweetie more to Little Mix, even if her rap is probably like top 3 best feature raps they've had.

When I watched reaction vids to the confetti video a lot of the Americans said they didn't have high hopes for her verse, although they all did think it was good when they saw it. I don't think her reputation as a rapper is that great at the minute, unless its just pure coincidence the ones i saw didn't think that much of her

Didn't realise it was that close! Will get as many versions as I can later :cheer:
