the way I see it is if you go with FF, you could potentially add to your score, with Pointless, you can only keep or take away from your score - but clearly as more people went with Pointless my FF attempt didn't get me anything, only those lucky enough to have gone with Tom Grennan benefitted.

Oh I really messed up that not reading it properly! Just thought of a recent number one album from last weeks quiz! Oops :lol:

Congratulations xajnipi, a great result on both halves of the quiz (especially the Pointless one!) and a deserved win. I'm fairly happy with 6th especially after my disastrous performance in Only Connect last week!

I think the new point system is still better than the old point system despite this outcome, a much greater emphasis on all-round performance!

If I understand correctly you might have misunderstood it, I think you were the one who lost out from choosing Pointless instead of FF for that answer!
