While not had official sales it has definitely gone silver so sold 60k minimum. Wonder why it hasn’t had a certification from official charts?

The BPI hasn’t updated their archives for the past two weeks due to holidays. I was hoping they’d update yesterday but nothing so far.

Ah let's hope they update and give us that Steps silver certification asap!

Steps were at #61 yesterday with 945 sales. Kylie was at #37 with 1,232 sales so only 287 sales between #37-61. Hopefully they get a few more sales and climb some.
Ya every sale counts these days and its so close throughout the whole chart, hopefully Steps can creep back into the Top 60.
The latest lockdown and access to casual sales isn't helping Steps but the album will continue to attract some low sales for a couple of more weeks.
i'm really confused why their target audience is people who buy actual cds when most of their audience is late 20s / early 30s who use Spotify???

I'd say that their audience is more in their 30s-40s now tbh... Also Spotify is only really good for current acts it seems and Steps are very much a heritag/retro act now who have successfully adapted musically. It's obvious by their first week sales (and every week sales) where physicals dominate their overall sales.

acts need millions of streams to make any sort of impact on spotify/streaming services.

even though steps have thousands of fans, there’s not really enough of us to make a dent in the charts without buying physical units.

Steps will remain a physical reliant act as they don't have enough support in the streaming market.

It's frustrating that Steps have delivered some singles that are better than previous singles that achieved Top 10 status for them.

Scared of the Dark, Neon Blue, Something In Your Eyes and Story of a Heart are as good as any of their big selling hits.

Let the aim for Gold start now although i am disappointed they ended up as low as 77 this week.

Really hoping they can get to 100k, I think it's doable if they play their cards right! Such a shame Lisa is in Dubai as they need to be popping up on shows like Loose Woman etc to just keep the album selling, especially with sales being so low, they can easily get good chart placings if they do this which will keep them stocked in supermarkets etc (which are closed at the min so... lol)

I didn't mean that  I meant lockdown meaning less casual shoppers at supermarkets... Yeah we're all starving to death in the UK cos there's nowhere to get food

Out of the top 100 this week

How come the brutal price reduction didn't help? :o

What the Future Holds is at #107 with 1,186 sales, taking its total to 64,115.

In Tuesday’s midweeks (when it was midweek #102) it was projected to fall as low as #143 by Friday... so the fact it’s #107 is actually an indication that the sale helped a bit. Unfortunately the sale is over now!
