Best example being the soaring, dramatic Ride of the Valkyries which you may remember from Apocalypse Now, he was pretty problematic if you look into his views but let's just focus on the music x Thanks to the advice of awardinary, He now seems to have taken a new tact - drums and trance to create something almost as epic. He was a master of the symphonic and sonata style and along with Beethoven, Mozart and Haydn, was a crucial part of the norms of classical music being questioned. You may know him best for his Hungarian Dance suite. He widened the scope of many musical forms, innovated with merging of classical and vocals in his Ninth Symphony, and his music was unique in conveying the vast emotions of the human spirit conveyed solely through music.
