The title track is doing so well! #9 on Apple Music with no big playlist support.

Good! It deserves to be as huge as 'bad guy' was tbh.

Title track misses the US billboard top 10 - enters at 11 although her songs usually peak higher in the U.K. then the US. Huge no.1 album with 238,000 units though.
The entry positions of her last 4 singles (counting 'Happier Than Ever' as a single because it basically is one even if it's not official yet) have followed exactly the same pattern in the US and the UK, even down to 'Happier Than Ever' charting exactly one place lower than 'Your Power' although indeed all four have charted lower in the US than the UK. Before that though 'my future' actually charted one place higher in the US and 'Therefore I Am' was #2 in both.

Maybe Happier than ever, the single, can climb into the top 10 this week? the song is #3 on Spotify now but guess it has a 0 on airplay

Her album did amazing, 73K vinyls sold is crazy!

Higher than ever

Happier Than Ever track proves that I should sometimes not decide too early whether to skip the song or not  The later half is an earworm also thanks to TikTok and I can't get it out of my head. Such a great tune!
I wasn't sure about this album as none of the pre-album singles properly grabbed me like her last album, but thankfully the album itself was much better. Once you get past the opening, there's a lot of great experimentation with form and genre which is wonderful to watch and shows a bit more diversity. Oxytocin and Goldwing are wonderful, the title track is an obvious smash which I'm surprised she didn't lead off with and I loved the intense, spoken-word Not My Responsibility in particular (I must have missed that the first time around). The more stripped moments are OK, but there was a few too many of them and she definitely does better when she's on the more experimental side of things. Certainly a tough listen at times though as the title does seem awfully ironic, do hope she's well.

Oh is the song doing something on Tik Tok?

It's odd that despite being 9/10 on Apple charts since release that Apple still haven't added it to their main playlist. Once it's on there I assume it'll catapult into the top 5 on there.

Chiming in with some late thoughts as per

I think this album has actually wound up being quite comfortably better than her debut for me - I mean I was kind of in hot take territory already by being a fan of all 5 of the singles but there are not really any major misses among the album tracks either, I thought 'Getting Older', 'Halley's Comet' and 'Male Fantasy' were a little bland / inessential (the album really opens and closes on its 2 weakest notes for me lol) but they certainly don't come close to the troughs of the more questionable songs on WWAFA,WDWG?, I'm a fan of every other song on here! ('Not My Responsibility' is a weird one as I remember watching her short film of the same title a while ago and the track is just the audio from that so it's weird for me to think of it as being a 'song' but it certainly does fit well in the tracklist as a transitional moment regardless). I think 'Your Power' probably still takes it as my favourite song on the album overall but really cannot decide between 'Oxytocin' and 'OverHeated' for my highlight of the album tracks, more of this murky electronic Billie is needed between those two and 'NDA'. *.*

The obligatory song that no one else is talking about but I thought was a big standout is 'Everybody Dies' (edit: actually checked back and I see Pavel mentioned it too so it's not only me yay x), kind of feels like an improved version of what she was going for on 'my future'? (And I guess on the flipside me having 'Halley's Comet' as a lowlight is also a hot take from other reviews I've read of it, I probably need to give it another listen).

The title track takes a little too long to get going for me which is preventing it from being one of my absolute standouts but it's still great for the eventual payoff alone.

(also I guess it's actually not really a controversial opinion at all in the end that this is a better album overall than the debut haha, I clearly haven't paid too much attention to the discourse around this beyond the singles receiving generally mixed reception)

Male Fantasy is one of the album highlights so glad it's got a video. is it the next official single or just a random video?
Eh 'Male Fantasy' was one of the only songs I didn't really care for from the album (may actually be my least favourite) but will see if the visuals make it click more I guess!

Really? Male Fantasy is one of the best

Should have been a Grat instead of all those meh pre-album songs

didn't do much for me on 1st listens but once it clicks, it's amazing

give it more than 1 listen please :-)

Whyyy would she release this as a single and not Billie Bossa Nova or Oxytocin?

Not necessarily confirmed as a single yet, just the video release for now
