I agree! Thank you Global ❤️
I just have to also say, look at that Scottish Taste! Most of the songs that didn't chart in the UK, charted in Scotland and they've many more #1's in Scotland too. Yay for Scotland! :cheer:

I love the Scottish already and this just intensifies that love!

Thanks for pinning and the extra help from everyone ❤️

Those Scottish runs are great! Shame they lost most of their territories after their Step one though :(

Also a shame that Scottish Charts are now non-existent so we won't get those either.

Ps I've changed the topic title so it fits the rest of the pinned topic titles.

Out of curiousity, I've streamlined each Song and Album just to see how it fared between the UK and Scotland only because it was confusing reading it all between every country that charted songs and albums. This is the final tally. The Scottish chart only ever provided a top 100 so only the top 100 for the UK chart was included in this comparison of mine. The Albums section includes Studio Albums and Greatest Hits but not Compilation Albums.

Thank Abba for the music also got to #2 in Scotland while it got to #4 in the UK.

Was 5, 6, 7, 8 just not as well received in the UK?

It went #1 in Australia and #2 in New Zealand. Maybe it just hit a chord with us.

TBF 5,6,7,8 was huge - they launched the band and single in the peak Christmas run up so they had a lot to compete with whilst also being unknowns.

It spent 10 weeks in the Top 20 and went silver which was unheard of for a track not scaling the high end of the charts back then.

New position for Australia - What the Future Holds Pt. 2 reached #11!

Awww sooo close to top 10 that is frustrating! Still it’s one of their best chart placings there so well done Steps!
