Good to see it getting itunes pre orders as fans will be after all the physicals. Its great to see some interest in the release.

Great to see that, any promo at all helps, I wonder will Lisa really get behind promoting it, some signings might help get them extra sales. It would be nice if she could get a promo slot of two and perform one of the singles from it.

I don't see where she would get the promo slots tbh, Steps seemed to struggle with them as a group for an album released on a major so I don't see Lisa getting booked for this limited release via one website.

 

I'm sure she would jump at the chance if she could. :wub:

:lol: Yeah, she's not going to go and promote an album that wasn't even officially released in the UK initially that features a #6 "hit" single. Getting a Mighty Hoopla slot is a major feat for her, but that's about as big as it's going to get. Maybe she'll do a few interviews for stuff like Retro Pop Magazine and Attitude (is that still a thing?).

 

And let's be honest here - it's not as if Never Or Now is some sort of lost classic - it sounds like they eventually just tossed together the tracks she recorded to make a bit of money back. There's some decent tracks on there, but it's not a cohesive piece of work.

Ya even if it can just register a chart position it would be a success.

No.

She’d maybe need to sell 1,400+ copies to go Top 100. Hopefully there’s enough interest across all the formats to sell that much, but who knows!

She will heavily rely on fans multi buying do it I think unless she picks up more casual sales than we are expecting although unlikely, a few signing could be what she needs to get there but I'd love to see her make the chart.

I think she needs to do some promo like that indeed to get there! Is there still a top 200 for the albums existing btw?
