The thing is, vinyl pressing plants are only about 3 months behind now so why it takes so long is a mystery.

With this been announced so far back ud assume it would be manufactured now.

I really hope they won’t mess up this release

I'm hoping the same, to be fairnto lisa her solo career has been blighted with mistakes and set backs so I'd like to see this go right for her.

Me too! And a top 200 for the album would be nice (even if it’s just a #200 peak) :)

I know top 200 is probably the best outcome but I'd love if it made the top 100. Surely a midweek top 75 should happen if everything ships on time.

Top 100 would be great! Still, not sure if enough people are interested (Appleton missed the top 200 for example).

Maybe I'm more deluded as the album has been talked about a lot here but my assumption is there might be a tiny bit more Hype for Lisa's album than the Appletons.

I think the fact it’s being released on Plastic Pop will hinder any chart success - I believe it will only be available directly from them so will miss out on any HMV, Amazon etc., sales.

 

I know a ‘deluxe’ download version is being released too but I don’t think it’ll be enough to trouble the charts, I think the fact that Appleton missed the charts with 2 vinyl versions that were available pretty much everywhere with signed inserts for around £22 then Lisa has no chance :drama:

Nicola Roberts did sell more copies of her 2 vinyl variants solely through Plastic Pop, than Appleton did with their 2 more widely available vinyl variants though. So I don’t think it really matters where they’re available - it really boils down to whether the demand is actually there.

 

It’s hard to say with Lisa but (if all formats shipped in the same week) on paper she has a leg up with there being a download, CD and cassette as well as the 2 vinyl.
