I'm making my way through the bonus material for the first time on the download... I'm enjoying pretty much all the alternate versions of the album tracks, including the Soul Sound one as I always thought the original of that was nice enough but a little bland - definitely here for the huge switch up on that one.

 

Just Let It Go sounds great in edited form and Little Lady Love was clearly a huge missed opportunity, way more commercial than most of what was released. Sugababes On The Run is really quite fun and would have totally worked at the age they were when this was originally released. Not really fussed about any of the remixes tbh.

 

 

Don't judge me too harshly but the album was always a little flawed for me, there were some real highs but there were times when I got bored too and I always admired it more than I enjoyed it as a whole - I think with the bonus material they've got something I can create that will rectify that.

 

 

 

ALSO - how on earth was Same Old Story never a single?!!! I'd forgotten just how much I love it.

 

ANOTHER ALSO - this has actually aged really well, it almost sounds better and more relevant now than it did at the time of release.

 

FINAL ALSO - it actually sounds amazing on vinyl, it really benefits from the warmth that format can bring.

Yes! All Around the World is interesting because it was apparently pushed as a lead single for One Touch, then for Angels (the girls hated it). The Other Side is also good and the alternative mixes are interesting, especially Sugababes On The Run one which adds a bit of a disco guitar to it.

Strong agree. The Amazon bonus disk is incredible. All 6 tracks are brillaint. I love the alternative versions of One Touch, One Foot In as well as the aforementioned Sugababes On The Run (which has long been a bside I adore)

My copy of One Touch and Overload arrived in the mail today, just waiting on the Amazon exclusive now.

 

I own both One Touch and Overload already but I got them second hand on eBay in 2006 when I first properly got into the Sugababes, so to have actual new copies is great!

 

My Overload number is 1990 (of 2500).
