TIX having the highest Eurovision song (excluding James Newman) is... very weird? It didn't do particularly well in the contest or indeed even in the UK televote (only finished 9th there), and for what nothing it's worth it actually came last (!) in the UK jury vote. Not to mention it was one of the most boring songs in the contest. How bizarre. x

 

Loving seeing Go_A in the top 40, it was such an easy standout song for me but does not exactly scream UK favourite (i.e. it's a little quirky and not in English)! Sort of similar with Måneskin too although actually would have expected they'd be higher considering they won and all (although I guess they're affected by being split between two versions). Have a feeling we're not going to see any of the songs making the overall top 100 this year but we'll see I guess ~

Time will tell if the TikTok users deem any of this year’s songs worthy. Otherwise slim to no chance.

Really wanted Finland to win! I thought their heavy metal offering ("Dark Side") was a fair amount better than the Italians!

Glad to see there’s some solace to be taken from this, it would be nice to see the country get behind the song even if it’s too late!

Taking nothing away from James; Embers deserved better than last!!

 

However, we have to agree that his performance wasn't exactly a standout and that there were at least 7 or 8 other songs more deserving of a win...imo I think UK should have finished low top 10!!
